Small jobs welcome

"Curtis and his team were amazing, We had water damage from an overflowed sink that damaged floors, drywall, and a bathroom vanity. Curtis purchased all of the materials he needed and he and his team tiled our whole kitchen, replaced the kitchen ceiling drywall, tiled the 2nd floor bathroom, installed the new vanity, and installed new mirrors and a backsplash. It was a big job. They had to carry a 400 lb vanity upstairs. Curtis and his team were so nice and helpful and very patient with us. I strongly recommend CRM Trades Solutions for any home improvement or repair projects. I will definitely use them in the future."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

For pool construction and installation in Reading, prioritize freeze-thaw resilience. Choose a concrete shell, which withstands shifting clay and shale soils far better than vinyl liners. Install robust drainage materials, like gravel backfill or a French drain, to handle heavy annual rainfall. Finish the project with aluminum or galvanized steel fencing to resist corrosion during humid summers, and secure the area with a certified safety cover.

Helpful?

Address minor pool construction and installation issues immediately to prevent severe damage. In Reading, an uneven pool deck or hairline cracks in the shell indicate shifting clay soils that demand prompt structural repair. Consistently losing water or noticing soft, sunken ground near your equipment pad points to an active plumbing leak. Take tripped electrical breakers seriously, as they signal improper grounding that creates severe safety hazards.

Helpful?

After finishing your pool construction and installation, schedule a final inspection with local authorities to ensure structural and barrier compliance. Prepare for winterization immediately if completing your project late in the year, as PA experiences hard freezes. During your first spring startup, inspect the pool shell for ground heave caused by shifting clay soils. Finally, confirm your backwash discharge setup meets municipal sewer guidelines.

Helpful?

Combining pool construction and installation with hardscaping or drainage improvements is a smart strategy in PA. Since heavy excavation equipment is already on your property, adding a patio or retaining wall maximizes efficiency. You must install compliant fencing before using the pool, making it an ideal bundled project. Upgrading your electrical panel simultaneously also streamlines the inspection process and ensures your new equipment runs safely.

Helpful?

When reviewing quotes for pool construction and installation, reject any contractor lacking state registration or proper insurance. A reputable professional will always include permit fees and outline a detailed soil disposal plan. Watch out for quotes that skip a site evaluation for Reading’s variable clay soils. Additionally, ensure the proposal covers mandatory safety fencing requirements and coordinates all electrical work with licensed specialists.
