If your window well fills with water, first remove the water as soon as weather conditions allow, using a pump or wet/dry vacuum. If water has seeped into your basement, you may need to call a professional to assess the damage. It’s easy to tell if you have low-E windows. Light a match or grab a pen light and hold it up to your windows. You should see multiple reflections in the window—four for double-pane windows.
