"I have hired Lokuta's a few times over the past few months as I've had a few issues in a recently purchased fixer upper. Each time I've called, they have either come that day or given me advice on the phone. It is great to know I can trust them as I've been having problems with almost every other contractor I've tried to hire or have hired for this house! I will continue to use Lokuta's for all of my HVAC and plumbing needs!"

"I had a very hard time finding someone to fix my HVAC - dehumidifier in my home. I finally found Hud Mechanic. Bill contacted the manufacturer of the unit & figured it out. Bill also installed a water holding tank to my well and also replaced my hot water heater. I then asked if he did carpentry which I had an unfinished closet I wanted done. He put up walls,, installed a shelf & a bar & then painted it. He also installed kitchen wall cabinets. Whenever I called his Secretary with a question, she checked with Bill right away & got back to me immediately. I recommend HUD Mechanic for all your repair/install needs! I will be contacting them again. Excellent Contractor!"

"Iâ m a real estate investor, and I bought a rental property in Wilkes Barre. I knew I needed to replace the 100 amp service and replace the knob and tube wiring. He came out quickly, gave me an estimate, and started work the next day. Very nice, very honest, and high quality work. Heâ s now my electrician for this property and any additional properties that Iâ ll purchase in the area. I highly recommend him."

"I recently had Don and his crew from Aqua Pure Well Pumps convert my existing jet pump to a submersible pump. I was having trouble with sediment in my water and Don immediately knew from our initial phone call what the issue was. Project was completed in one day and he kept me informed of his progress throughout the day. His price was fair, and he didnâ t try to inflate the cost and offer a discount for a good review like many other contractors do. Don and his crew earned this 5-star review 100%. Thank you, Don."

One starting point to find a local home builder is to collect suggestions from friends and neighbors. However, it’s still wise to do some more research before you hire a builder. Read reviews to supplement any word-of-mouth recommendations. Check sources like Angi that have standards and criteria in place to screen the pros it lists can also help you find more reputable local home builders.

Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
