They pruned a 50ft Pin Oak that was riddled with dead branches, top to bottom, but also removed unsafe branches that extended out over the street and our 40ft home. They also pruned a 50ft Tulip tree to allow for more sunlight to internal branches for more efficient growth. Neighbors agree both trees look 100% healthier and beautiful to look at. Rich also removed a 40 ft Spruce Pine between our home and the neighbors, in close proximity (11ft), by donning his climbing gear and dropping the tree in no time. It is a science. "They were very professional and friendly.  They cut our tree down with no problems.  The only minor drawback was that they came on Wednesday, 9/25/2013 and weren't able to cut the tree down due to bees.  The owner, Jaime, said he would be back on Thursday with bee spray.  He called me on Thursday and said that he was stuck at this one job but he would try to get to my house early evening.  That afternoon, we decided that he would come on Friday, 9/27/2013 instead since the job he was on was taking the entire day.  Jaime was very apologetic about the delay, which I appreciated.  I understand that in life things happen that are out of our control.
I would recommend Conklin's.  Their prices are very fair and honest.  We had another estimate that was three times as much as Conklin's.
