"I bought a home that hadn't had the boiler serviced in 6 years.  It also is my first home with radiator heat.  UGI gave me a window of 12-5 for when their repair man would be out.  He called ahead of time to let me know he was near (at 1:30) which was great.  He serviced the boiler.  He also fixed an improperly angled vent line from the gas water heater to the chimney.  The repair man was awesome as he answered questions and was very knowledgeable.  He let me know how to bleed air from the radiators and where the shut off's were, as well as how to flush sentiment from the water heater every 6 months.  UGI's service cost was $100 less than two other "A" rated Angie's List members.  It was only $135 for the service and $25 to fix the vent line.  I figure, if my gas bill goes to UGI, why not give them a shot at service.  They were excellent.

"We called for an appointment to discuss remedition for our basement walls. The walls had cracks where water was leaking in.  A company representative came to our house at 8pm on a weeknight to discuss repair options. He discussed all available options as well as pricing and longevity pertaining to each option. After deciding on an option, we set up an appointment for the repair work.  Four workers and one inspector came to our house to do the repair. They were mindful of our off white carpets and put floor coverings down for protection. While they were driling the cement in the basement and sealing the walls, they kept us informed on how the process was going and all the next steps needed. They were highly professional, courteous, clean and very friendly. After the job was completed, we had a few followup questions and they responded quickly. I would highly recommend this company.

"Spoke to Charlie and explained that there was a sewer smell and one tank was leaking.   He sent two gentlemen to check it out and after inspection they replaced the pump.  They arrived on time and did a great job.  I will hire and recommend American Pump Services again.

"I've known Bob Walter, our plumber ever since we bought our summer home in the Pocono mountains, PA, 15 years ago.  We keep using him, because he has always been reliable and efficiently corrects whatever problem we have. Normally, we ask him to help when we close up our Pocono home at the end of December and he evacuates the water from all pipes so we can turn off the heat without experiencing water freezing problems (This past year, neighbors tell us the temperature stayed in single digits for almost two weeks straight)  In the summer, when we escape Florida's heat, he comes over to reconnect the fittings and makes sure everything works right. 
Through the years, he has performed many small repairs as well, as today, when he diagnosed a problem with our garage hose bib, and replaced a broken shutoff valve.
