We got to know each other a bit over the course of the time it took to put hardwood floors down and later tile floors. Great personality, and just an all around great human being. "This job involved assessment of previously laid tiles. That installation was a floating tile installation. This resulted in breaking at the edges of those tiles the new installation involved removal of the existing tiles, adding a new underlayment and installation of 18“ x 18“ tiles. These tiles were glued to the surface and it resulted in an excellent presentation. Any job the quality of the installation is what counts and Cory did an excellent job. We were pleased to work with DJ IImprovements, and would do so again."

"PRECISION and PERFECTION We contacted Jonathan Fisher of JF Construction in late January 2017 with the hopes of having our deck rebuilt in early spring. Jonathan was able to start the project in late February once the decking materials were available and finished in March. My husband and I couldn't have been happier that he was so willing to work through the cold days of winter. I have only the very highest praise for Jonathan's workmanship. Every corner, every joint, every angle displays a high degree of precision. Jonathan has his own internal drive for perfection and that easily shows through in the final results. Jonathan was open to all suggestions or requests and found ways to incorporate our wants and needs into the design. On multiple occasions, he was able to come up with innovative solutions to tricky construction details. One example was his ingenious design for removable skirting panels, which provides us with access to the area beneath the deck. When installed, the removable panels appear seamlessly incorporated into the skirting. Craftsmanship is hard to find and that is certainly what we received from Jonathan."

"OK in general. The work was delayed a lot by the weather. The rotten top two 2x4 beams (10 feet long) were removed and replaced and primer placed on the bare wood during the first visit. That part of the job was excellent. When it came time to paint the new wood, the worked thought he was to do the carpentry work first. He noted it was done and offered to paint the entire trellis. He used a roller then a brush, but it was blue on blue, and I couldn't tell if anything was not painted. However it was clear he did not cover the white primer on the new wood well at all. There were multiple white areas showing. This could not be seen at eye level, but was glaringly obvious as you went up the stairs to our front porch, and was easily seen from the porch. I reported this to the manager, and she sent out a professional to finish the job correctly."

"The crew got here on time and stayed the whole first day, completing the first room and starting the second one. They finished the next day. When arriving home from work that first day, I checked out the floors that were installed. I did notice there was a "bubble" in a small area of the floor and made the comment to Husband who passed it on to the crew the following day. They went out of their way to find out why the floor seemed so soft in that spot and repair it. I was very impressed with their willingness to make sure I was completely satified before they left the following day. They took great pride in their work and I took great pride in their work too. The floors are great! and they're beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone looking for flooring for their home.
