"Original date to start job was 11/13/24. 11/20/24 I texted and asked what happened. He said he would start the job on Monday, 12/2/24. 12/9/24 got an email that he would be coming the next day, 12/10/24. Then, he received an email that it was too cold to install rails, and he would come on 12/24/24. Rails were installed, and Dominic stressed he needed to receive the balance of the invoice. I asked him when he would remove the boulder. He had to get back to me. 2/21/25 Dominic said he would come the first week in March 2025 to remove the boulder. I contacted Dominic again via text on 4/1/25, got a message on 4/2/25 that Dominic would come next week to remove the boulder. Got a message 4/10/25 that Dominic would come the following week to remove. At some point after this, when it was not done, I spoke with Dominic, and he proceeded to talk over me and said he was not going to remove the boulder."

On the day the work was done, I was told that additional “base stabilization” was needed because of an area where my driveway had been washing and that they would have to order $5000 more asphalt to fill that in, or else the results would be bad. This washed area was clearly visible when the original estimate was made and should have been included in the initial price. The truth is that they had plenty of asphalt initially, but they sold some of my asphalt to my next-door neighbor to pave his driveway because they told him they brought too much asphalt to my job. Then they put on a hard sell to me, telling me that I needed to buy more asphalt to get a reasonable job done. Effectively they charged two different people for the same asphalt. While the work was pretty good and the workers seemed courteous, I think their business practices are definitely shady. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, and I don't think much of Angi for recommending them. The uploaded picture shows the neighbor's driveway which they paved with part of my initial load of asphalt."

Got me in the schedule and we coordinated around his other projects. Removed old asphalt driveway and installed new concrete slab in 3 days. Would hire Goodfellas again and recommend."

"They did great job on install. But within a month it started crumbling, getting holes. Salt never out on driveway and all instructions followed. Every month that has gone by, the driveway has crumbled. Years later there are numerous holes, cracks, gravel exposed and other issues. Was told couldn’t do anything but seal again. Was told could have been bad concrete mix, but not worth it trying to fix. I think it was great experience, until the driveway started crumbling a month later. My driveway looks terrible. Compared to older and newer ones in neighborhood. It is still deterring now. Very disappointing outcome. Should have gone with lower priced vendor. Versa lock wall put in also bowing."
