"Bill, the owner, was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job replacing the liner for our above ground pool. He also did some extra things he noticed at no extra cost. I would highly recommend Spartan to anyone who needs work done on pool. It was very refreshing to find someone who still takes pride in their work these days."

"Noah and team did a great job with my above ground pool insulation. They were engaged with us the customer, making sure everything is good with their install. They took the time to explain the sand filter system with my wife and I. I am very please with their service and would recommend them to anyone that is interested in a pool."

"This is the second time that Dig M Pools did and installation for us. Again we were very happy with the job they did. We purchased our pool from them and it is a well made product. The owners wife was very helpful when we were deciding what pool to purchase. I would recommend Dig M Pools as first choice. Excellent job. Thanks Dig M."

Hi! The cost to refinish a standard 5ft tub in white or off white, would be $399. This assumes that the tub is not a jetted tub has not been done before (if it has, it will need to be stripped, add $100); and that the tub is in good shape structurally (no leaks, major cracks, or drainage issues). If this is a clawfoot tub, the above would apply to the inside only. To include the tub surround or if this is a 1pc fiberglass enclosure unit, add $250. If the work is different (sinks, counters, tile work etc.) we will need details and pictures, if you can. We'll get you a quote quickly. Our tubs come with a 5 year warranty, the job can take up to 4-5 hours to do, and cures in 16 hours to use. We use an acrylic urethane called GlassTech9000 and we also do the caulking, when applicable. We've been in business almost 50 years, refinished over 200,000 tubs, and have an A+ rating with the BBB. Call or email if you need any further info. Have a great day, we appreciate your interest! Thanks! Tom

"Price Right Pools is the BEST contractor that I’ve every worked with. Izabella, the owner, is helpful, communicative, super-professional and made sure the job was done to our satisfaction. This past year the Izabella and her team turned our 35-year old, run-down pool and patio into a beautifully hardscaped outdoor living area, with a gorgeous resurfaced pool. Izabella came to our project with wonderful suggestions, from the overall design down to the smallest details. Early on we met with her at her supplier and picked out paving stones (much better than choosing them from a catalog, which we could have done). Her crew was very professional. Flavio, the foreman/supervisor for the hardscaping was terrific, as was his entire crew. We had some permitting issues with the township early-on, which Izabella resolved by staying on top of it and keeping us informed. I would not hesitate to recommend Price Right Pools for working on your pool and/or patio and would hire them again in a minute!"

"Mark, the owner of the company, arrived when he promised and completed an installation of a new pool pump/motor for our above-ground pool. He also completed some additional work on the pool connections after traveling to secure additional parts. Mark only charged us for the parts; no additional labor. In addition to completing the work in a professional manner, Mark returned to our home the next day to verify that everything was running smoothly, make any adjustments necessary, and offered some pointers on pool maintenance. B&M is now our new pool service company."

"Jim and his crew showed up promptly every day and went above and beyond to ensure that the closing on my home went smoothly. During the course of a home inspection, it was discovered that the foundation wall had questionable cracks throughout. Not only did Jim and his team ensure me that the inside of the block was safe but also dug down outside the wall to make sure that there was "nothing else to worry about". Hence, easing my mind of any possible future issues. He acted quickly and professionally describing everything in detail throughout the process. Even did some additional landscaping leveling to ensure that both parties (the buyer and the seller) were satisfied with the job! Thank you Jim and your crew for making my home inspection issues easy and ensuring that the house went to closing!!"

"Mr Rovase was quick to reply by email and came out to do an estimate for a new stone walkway. We ended up canceling the Big Deal before work began because it seemed like it was difficult to get a clear picture of total costs. The deal stated that it included all materials and labor to 100 square feet if we cities one of 4 stone types, but several days after coming out, Mr Rovase claimed there was a $350 materials allowance (it's possible this was somewhere in the fine print but we haven't been able to find it after looking repeatedly and don't know why he didn't mention it sooner). In our email communication it became clear that because of this and several other seemingly new costs, this project would come to at least several hundred dollars (and likely much more) above what we had already paid. We decided to stop the project for now and do more research."

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

The best temperature to paint a pool deck is between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit, because many paints and sealers require temperatures warm enough for the chemical reaction to take place for proper curing. The paint should not be allowed to freeze, and temperatures above 90 degrees can cause the paint to dry too quickly, also preventing the chemical reaction from following through to completion.

You can install an aboveground pool on various surfaces, including dirt, sand, concrete, and grass. You can’t install a pool on an uneven surface, though, so be sure to level the ground before building your pool. You also can’t install your pool on top of a rocky surface. Three or 4 inches of smooth sand or soil is the ideal surface to go under an aboveground pool.

In many homes, an unfinished basement is an ideal place for an in-ground pool. The concrete floors, protection against water damage, and access to the ground below your home make this a large contender. Speak with a local basement remodeling contractor to ensure your space is right for the large construction.

DIY is not recommended due to its complexity. Professional installation ensures proper fitting and longevity.

The steps to fill a swimming pool will depend on your local building codes. However, it starts with draining the pool of all water using a submersible pump. Then your pro will lift the pool shell from the ground or break it into pieces for individual removal. The next step is filling the cavity with dirt and gravel and topping it with topsoil. Once a structural engineer deems the site safe, landscaping can start.
