Fronheiser Pools

The folks at Fronheiser provide free testing of your pool water samples, will prescribe necessary chemicals, and of course will sell those chemicals to you. What’s special about this place for me is that we just had our pool replastered and for warranty purposes we had to get water samples analyzed every day for a month. Even though I come every day I’m welcomed whether I need chemicals or not, and I usually don’t.

I called Fronheiser Pools in Bally, PA. They were the folks that installed the spa many years earlier (and THAT was definitely a tricky installation at our house). From the Service Scheduler to the repairmen, working with Fronheiser is a pleasure. They came quickly , diagnosed the problem, got the replacement board and installed it, keeping us informed at each step. They are the best in the Lehigh Valley. Ask for Josh!

Had to initiate contact every time.    No follow-up on their part.     First reached out in February... Sent deposit for work in April... Sent an email to them in May asking when work would be scheduled.   Was called today and told "not before Memorial Day" which was Ok but I then asked when work would begin?    I was told they did not know.   Weather dependent, etc.     I reminded Bonnie that I had landscapers that needed work to begin in late May, she advised that she could not give me ANY date they would begin work in spite of my signing their contract and sending them a deposit.    Not June, July or August.   No date

Sylvan is $2500 more, but worth every penny.   They have much better reviews and are very responsive.

After doing a bit of reserach on spa/hot services, I chose Fronheiser as my service provider.  Initial inquiries started out as e-mails to Josh.  I explained the problem and the age of the hot tub and e-mailed several pictures of the problem area.  Several wires, in the control pack, were cinged and/or burnt.  In the case of a couple of wires, they were completely burned off the terminal.  I knew the wires could be replaced but more of a concern was what caused this.  Through several e-mails, Josh and I set a morning appointment for 12/24/14 which was about 2 weeks in the future.  On the day of the appointment, Josh called and said they would be arriving shortly.  He arrived on time with another employee, Jeremy.  Both were very knowledgable and I felt comfortable that I wasn't going to be given a line of bull.   This hot tub's control pack is "rat's nest" of wires and looking at it, initially, one might be turned off to tackling the problem.  I didn't expect the news that Jeremy was going to attempt to fix the problem that day, at least.   In addition to wires being replaced, a burned air relay also had to be replaced.  Unbelievably, because of the ago of the hot tub, they had a replacement relay in their truck.  After about 1 1/2 hours, they were done and the unit was running just as it was before the problem occurred.

The main thing that made a difference for us, was the outstanding customer service! Our pool was installed in 2011, We had torrential rain storms at the end of that summer and our liner lifted. We called and the owner himself came out looked at the pool in the spring before it was reopened. He said the pipe needed to be extended as well as the Berm, to prevent the water from running down the hill, and getting in under the pool liner. Because it happened at the end of the first season they came out did all the repairs, added several yards of piping, extended the berm, drained the pool, readjusted the liner and refilled the pool, all at no cost to us! We did not have to fight or make numerous phone calls. The owner came out and looked over the situation identified the problem and corrected it! Very polite, honest and they follow through with things,and stand by their work. Some people may think they are pricey but the price includes everything. A friend of ours had a pool installed by another company, with all the add on items their price was much higher. While ours was inclusive of everything including solar cover, automated pool cleaner etc. It's a family business run by honest people. No corporate rules or policies to contend with. You deal directly with the owners themselves, who take pride in their name and reputation.

They are just awesome and they could be on Angie's list. One time we spent $400 and other time we spent 200, one was for a heater and other one was circulator. They are punctual; they get back to you right away. They are knowledgeable, we had an older spa that we were trying to get up and running again and they are knowledgeable to me. They actually got something off of the computer for me, I purchased it of that price, and they actually put it in.

THEY DELIVERED THE HOT TUB ON TIME AND CAME BACK WHEN OUR DECK WAS FINISHED TO INSTALL AND SET UP THE HOT TUB. THERE WERE A FEW BROKEN JETS SO WE CALLED THEM AND THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY TO FIX THEM.
