"New Deck Project-We recently moved into the area and did not have local relationships with any contractors. We identified SA Royalty from Angies list. The day I connected with SA Royalty they returned my call and then were onsite to LISTEN to our thoughts. Aaron made great suggestions on the details to take the deck to the next level (drink rail, column wraps,etc). Like any project there were bumps along the way, but both Aaron and Shannen were right on the issues and resolved them immediately. The project finished this week, I sent over some punch list items and the SA Royalty team was her that next day. The experience with Aaron and Shannon was great. About 1/2 way through the project we hired them to add a bedroom, bath , and office on the second floor. YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG w SA Royalty. Everyone on the team is customer focused!"

They all three were very polite and professional. Mike explained everything they were doing and answered all of my questions. They worked really hard installing supports and sistering joists as well as putting down a vapor barrier. Mike stayed in the house and made sure things were going back to level while Chris and Brady made adjustments underneath the house. they cleaned up when they were done, and they cleaned up their workspace so well that you couldn't tell they were even there. We also have peace of mind knowing that we have a service plan with them so that if something goes wrong, AFS will be there for us. Definitely check AFS out for all of your foundation needs. I'm glad we did!!"

They were able to complete my entire basement project: installing a french drain, sump pump, and rough casting on the walls in just one day. They brought in a large team to ensure the project was done correctly and efficiently. They also made sure to use drop cloths and plastic around the house to keep dust off of my furniture. "I had a small but complicated, hard to access, and structurally essential repair job on a 60-year-old concrete deck attached to my 280-year-old Pennsylvania limestone farmhouse. I contacted several masons listed for my area on Home Advisor, and included Mr. Grady as a long shot -- I read about his expertise with historical structures and wished I had access to such an expert craftsman, but I didn't think he'd be interested in my teeny job and assumed I wouldn't be able to afford him anyway. He was the first one to return my call and to look at the job, and I thought his price was fair. I believe now it was way more than fair, considering the time he spent. He did extensive research, going over a structural engineer's report I had done previously on the deck and even examining the original architectural drawings and materials invoices from 1959. He showed up at least three times to complete the repair in stages, and has been back a half a dozen times since then to check the job -- and my location is not exactly in his neighborhood. He accepted only enough payment in advance to pay for lodging for himself and his assistant when they stayed nearby one night in order to be there early the next morning. He gave and continues to give free advice about preserving my stone house and patio. If you prod him a little, he might even share some of his personal philosophy, earned over a lifetime of work that is clearly more of an art form than a job to him. Overall, I'd say you can hire one of many competent contractors and get an adequate job, or you can hire Mr. Grady and get superior work by someone who cares about your property as much as you do."

"AWESOME!!! They very friendly and very PROFESSIONAL. They complied with all my needs and still were very friendly after I made multiple color changes and new ideas up to the day before they started, I had them install a new roof, siding, gutters, front door, plus storm door and new windows (that had to be reframed do to size change that I wanted ) I would recommend them to anyone pricing was better then 3 other companies that I had come to my home."

Overall the project took about a week and the crew did a good job considering the scale of work to be done. Communication was excellent considering I would text Ron multiple times a day leading up to/during the project and responses were always quick and informative. Throughout the entire process I never felt 'out of the loop' of what was going on and Ron would either call or text me with any small 'issues' that would arise so that we could both agree on a solution. "Desmond and Brian were awesome to work with! We purchased an old fixer upper and were really overwhelmed by the amount of work it needed. We wanted to do a lot of the work ourselves, but decided to hire someone to do the messy work for us. Desmond and Brian were more than willing to complete a partial job. We came across many contractors that would only renovate our kitchen from start to finish. After giving us an estimate, they were willing to negotiate some of the pricing to make us feel more comfortable with the cost. They were extremely fair with their price.
The communication was great throughout the whole experience. Desmond frequently called or texted with updates and questions. We were living about 40 minutes away during the renovation and Desmond would send picture updates on a regular basis. On one occasion, the people refinishing our floors (not affiliated with Desmond) accidently left one of our doors open. Our neighbor called Desmond and he came over right away to lock-up for us...so nice!
The work was excellent quality and they were able to complete it within the timeline we needed. We always felt comfortable having them in the house when we weren't there. Both Brian and Desmond are overall great people, did fantastic work, and were fair with work/pricing. We would definitely hire them again!
