Excellent, very professional

AWESOME!!! They very friendly and very PROFESSIONAL. They complied with all my needs and still were very friendly after I made multiple color changes and new ideas up to the day before they started, I had them install a new roof, siding, gutters, front door, plus storm door and new windows (that had to be reframed do to size change that I wanted ) I would recommend them to anyone pricing was better then 3 other companies that I had come to my home.

Perfect, George Merryfield and his crew cooperated in every way and all work was independently inspected and certified. I can strongly recommend Merryfield Construction to anyone considering home repair or improvement work.

Shawn came out same day took care of everything....he also checked my other down spouts to assure they were tight...gave me piece of mind. the best response that I might ask for!

I decided to upgrade several elements of my home and hired Merryfield. They were fabulous. Lew (co-owner) helped me to figure out what I needed, but at the same time, respected my simpler taste and budget. The work crew was terrific. I work from home 3 days a week and I was totally comfortable while they were there and equally comfortable when I wasn't there. I have a snarky dog whom the crew completely charmed. I can't say enough about the friendliness, cleanliness and politeness of the workers. I found the folks at Merryfield to be good communicators, timely and flexible. They stayed very much within my budget. I couldn't be happier with the outcome!

Very well. The salesman was very professional; not pushy and didn't sell his company by putting other companies down. The installer was on time, courteous, professional and completed the work neatly and quickly.

We needed a new lower roof and once the winter weather broke we got put into the schedule and the work was done promptly. Took them only one day to rip off the roof, cut out three bad spots and replace with new plywood. Then re-shingle the roof and re-side one wall. It looks great and best of all no leaks. Everyone was very professional, provided us pictures of the damage they fixed and left the property as clean as they found it. Great experience!

Couldn't have gone any better. The entire construction process was very professional. They stayed on schedule, cleaned up, kept us informed throughout the entire process, and the finished work was of the highest quality. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommend Merryfield Construction!

Merryfield Construction Group was absolutely amazing!  I called them to get an estimate and they came out the same day.  They gave me a great price.  They provided the service in a timely manner.  They were professional and were there to answer all questions throughout the job.  I felt like they truly cared !  I was very impressed with the performance of the job.  Merryfield Construction was by far the best contractor I have ever used!! I would definitely use them in the future and I will have no problem referring to them to family and friends! I couldn't be a happier customer!!

The gutter project was done very nicely, that is why we negotiated for the other two projects.  That was a major let down. I'll explain!

These projects were negotiated to do during the winter months but they never started until the spring. Once they got started they seem to only come on there schedule, and inconveniencing my wife and I to take additional time off since they couldn't complete the project on there agreed time schedule when the first project was started.  The foreman/manager didn't even come back to check the work and ask if we were satisfied.  I had to finish the job.  
The second project the exterior door, we gave this company a quote from Lowe's of the door we wanted installed.  It was written in the contract.  I asked this company to take measurements so there would be no errors in the installation of the door.  Two months later they bring a door to install and it was the wrong door.  Then they have the nerve to show us a quote with my wife's name on it showing it was the door they ordered.  This was not the correct door that was also stated in the contract.  I believe this company fabricated this quote, they didn't have the integrity to ask us for a new quote.  

Due to this company's poor performance completing the hallway, and the lack of integrity with the wrong exterior door my wife and I terminated the contract.  Merryfield Construction company will never be allowed in our home again!

The hallway wall has an air intake for our heating system, this company removed the screen to do the renovation.  Now that this company replaced the wood paneling with sheetrock they didn't bother to replace the screen.  It will not fit and is unable to be secured as it was before.  Left the job unfinished?

They came and got if done and left. I would use them again.

We used Merryfield for this siding project, which was part of a kitchen remodel.  Our contractor did not specialize in siding and asked that we have the work performed by someone else.  We needed siding installed where a window was being eliminated to make room for additional cabinets.  The process was easy for this project, from estimate to completion.  They worked within the requests of our kitchen contractor and the work was done quickly.  The siding on our house is old and not readily available.  Merryfield was able to source the replacement siding even after we were told by another company that this was not possible.

They were very professional from start to finish.  I couldn't have been happier with the help I received from the office and I was always able to talk to someone with and questions I had.

Excellent. There were three workers. It took them about a week to get it done. They worked very hard to get the job finished and the service was top notch.

When we first met with Lew Merryfield, our home was a disaster.  Smoke and intense heat had made it necessary to completely gut and restore our home.  It was a time of great despair and confusion.  Lew was very reassuring that his company would be able to handle to assignment and allow us to return to a home that was better than ever, and agreed to bid the job in the format requested.
After the contract was signed the Merryfield Construction Group was very active, and progress was made every week.  We opted to hire our own subcontractors for plumbing and HVAC, and an electrical contractor recommended by the provider.  The provider and their staff worked well with the other contractors and were communicative with us during the process.  A promise to never abandon working on our home for any significant period of time was kept.  Building options and recommendations were presented at appropriate times and were appreciated.  Lew and his brother George worked with us to solve problems that arose and we always felt like it was a partnership and that they took great pride in their work.  Additional work outside the original contract and work change orders were appropriate and reasonably priced.
The fire was one week before Christmas in 2013, and we were able to move back in late October 2014.  Although this time frame was slightly outside of the original estimate, it was not considered unreasonable given the nature of the work and the change orders. After we moved in, the provider has done a nice job on following up any problem areas and punch list items.
We are very happy with our "new" home and are confident that the provider will continue to stand behind the work.  The overall job turned out much better than we could have expected.  Lew and George Merryfield, and their staff, particularly Tom Ferry, Sean, and Scott, were always respectful and friendly, and took obvious pride in their crafts.  In conclusion, we are glad we selected Merryfield Construction Group and would not hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend them to others.

I was extremely pleased with the work performed by Merryfield Construction.  They gave me some great advice and I did not feel like I was being oversold on anything.  Their workers were very polite and respectful.  Sorry they had to work on such a cold, snowy day, but due to the bad weather recently, they were anxious to get my job done.  Thanks to Lew and his crew for a job well done!
