My rep arrived on time to give me a quote. When I contracted with them, I was taken care of by Maria, the move coordinator. She did a great job in keeping me informed about timelines and with changes that needed to be made. She always returned my call, if I had to leave a message, within 10-15 minutes. My crew, Andres and Mario were excellent! They took great care preparing my furnishings for the move. They were timely on both accounts (pickup and delivery). They were always smiling and a real pleasure to work with. My reason for the 4.5 on the stars was that I had to wait 8 days for the delivery of the furniture. I would use them again, however.

I was expecting a call from the driver to let me know when he and his associate would be delivering my belongings. While at work I received a text from my Hughes contact who could not have been more fabulous if she tried that the moving truck was parked outside of my house. Leaving my job was not an option but I made sure to call the dispatcher hoping to learn the reason for not one attempt by neither him nor the driver to reach me with at least 24 hours or more notice as per the agreement. Cue the crickets because there IS NO EXCUSE FOR THEIR UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCONSIDERATE ACTION. PERIOD!!! Unfortunately for a service like this, errors can cost more than time and money. Dealing with the people with whom I was so impressed will allow me to highly recommend Hughes Moving but buyer beware of the lack of communication with the designated delivery details that I experienced.

Were were extremely happy with Hughes Relocation Service. From the beginning, working with the owner Brian with the virtual tour estimate, to Jana our project manager and Henry in the business office, this organization exemplifies professionalism and helpfulness. The staff that actually moved us was stupendous! Juan, the group leader, Veronica, Tyler, Andre and Sam all were not only friendly and fun to be around, they worked tirelessly from the time they arrived to closing - one day way after 6:00 PM. They were all personable, friendly, and professional. We give our highest recommendation to Hughes Relocation Service!

We had items broken (waffle maker, lamp, wooden fish & glasses)and they are only going to refund us $16. This is an insult. This amount does not replace even one of these items that they broke. Moving in the past we had no broken or damaged items. One of the employees dropped a box and he said oops but you could hear something. All boxes were marked fragile that had glass in them. Please beware if you go with this company if they break something their refund will not pay to replace the damaged items. They talk a good story about how careful they will be but it was only talk.

Everybody we worked with from the beginning of this move to the end were exceptional. The estimate via virtual walk thru, the packing, the loading, and delivery was above what we were expecting. Even load day with the rain everything was covered. Floor covering at both houses and no damage. All was moved without incident. Nothing broken, nothing missing.

Fantastic experience. Brian gave us a thorough quote and Jana kept us informed the whole way through. After loading our house we received everything about 1 week later and they really helped make sure everything was in appropriate condition. While we hope to not move again anytime soon, would highly recommend Hughes.

Jana my move coordinator and John my initial contact person did an awesome job of explaining the entire process of the move to me! Jana also checked in a few times throughout the whole process to be sure I was in target! And the out of state moving company they use Van lines did a phenomenal job. We had a great experience with Hughes! They were great from the beginning with a video survey estimate and providing a personal liaison to help with necessary logistics and handling all the moving parts like setting up parking permits. The company packed all of our stuff up and moved it to our new house over the span of 3 days, even during a snowstorm.. The team of movers were professional, hard-working, easy to work with, and efficient. They made the move so easy for us. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable company and stress-free experience!
