"We have a large (16'x32') salt water pool which (after having another pool company open it up for the season) had A LOT of leaves, debris and dirt in the bottom of it -- too much to clean the traditional way because we would have had to empty the basket a hundred times and would have had to clean the filter cartridge a couple times as well .  Terry came out only a day or two after I called, assessed the problem and came back just a couple days later to do the job.  He and Carol set up a portable vacuum that removed the leaves, debris and dirt over our back hillside instead of through our filter.  He also removed our filter cartridge and thoroughly cleaned it, tested the pool water's pH and alkalinity and adjusted it as needed.  I do recall him saying that he fixed another small problem, but it wasn't even on our invoice.
Not only did Terry and Carol do a great job, but we weren't even home so he just mailed us an invoice two days later.  There aren't many companies that would trust someone they don't even know to do that.
Because of the job they did, we will be calling Terry to open and close our pool in the future, instead of using our usual pool company.

"I was pretty happy with the repair and the work they did. I didn't have any problems but they were slightly late.

They didn't have to actually go up and clean the ventilation system but they went ahead and did that anyway. They went ahead cleaned out the furnace as well and that might have been something I would have had to have another technician come out and do. So they kinda went above and beyond there."

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

A black tarp will indeed heat your pool. Black absorbs more heat than other colors. This heat will transfer down to the water in your pool and help increase the temperature. It will not be extremely effective at raising the overall temperature, but it can help maintain the current temperature.

No, pool jets should not have air coming out. While it’s a common problem, making it seem like air coming out is the norm, bubbling pool jets are a sign of loose bearings or fittings, or low water levels. You should get to the bottom of your jets releasing air bubbles because it could be a sign that there’s air entering the pump, which can shorten the lifespan of your pump or lead to costly repairs.

DIY is not recommended due to its complexity. Professional installation ensures proper fitting and longevity.

The most expensive part of building a pool is typically the excavation and labor, which can account for 25% to 50% of the total project cost. This is particularly true for inground pools that require significant excavation, potentially including the rental of large equipment, and extensive construction labor. In contrast, above-ground pools are generally less expensive as they typically do not require excavation and can be installed much more quickly. Concrete in-ground pools are among the most labor-intensive options.

Shipping container pools are prone to rust and corrosion over time, especially if you install a saltwater system. Though the interior of your pool should be lined, the outside is at risk. Luckily there are a few things you can do.

Elevate your pool or place it on a foundation to prevent moisture buildup along the bottom of the container. Apply a rust inhibitor or paint to protect the outside of your pool, and maintain the proper chlorine levels to reduce the rate of corrosion. Regularly inspect your pool for signs of corrosion, and take action when necessary.
