Went above and beyond to explain each reason why the 70 year old boiler needed replacement and showed me the deficiencies and wear. Best price and were extremely professional and prompt. "We were quoted $329.16 to have the water heater sensor installed, less a $100 coupon that we had purchased on Angies List for $39. We thought that seemed a bit high but, proceeded anyway thinking we were already out $39 and this was something that we really wanted to have done. We were then quoted $908 to have the outside faucet installed. Except for having to drill through a cinder block wall, the job did not seem that complicated. The water line was running along an inside wall, and we had already purchased the necessary faucet. When asked why it was so expensive, my wife was told "because it is plumbing". We declined having the faucet installed. Although the technician was very professional and courteous, we would hesitate to recommend this company, because of what we felt were excessive prices being quoted. We also would hesitate to pre-purchase any services through Angies List without knowing what the total cost would be before the technician arrives. We thought we were getting a bargain price to check out a company that we could possibly develop a long term relationship with. Instead we felt we were overcharged and somewhat taken advantage of since we had already paid for part of the job through Angies List."

"John stopped one day to quote us a price, we arranged for the work and a few days later our new furnace and AC units were installed. John's helper arrived promptly, removed our old furnace and AC unit and installed the new one along with a new air cleaner, new thermostat and all new piping. The job was competed professionally and in one day. And everything was cleaned up before he left. We did have one small issue with a leaky condensate drain pipe which was quickly remedied the same day we discovered it. I would recommend John Mullen Home Repair to anyone. The best part is that he is a local business and we were really pleased with to deal with someone local."

"I called and explained that the furnace would not turn on.  Everyone I spoke with was pleasant, polite, and eager to help.  They assured me that someone would be able to come and take a look within a few hours, and the office staff called to let me know when the technician was on his way.  He efficiently inspected the furnace and thermostat.  He was able to determine what was causing the issue and correct it.  I would definitely use this company again in the future.  Their responsiveness and professionalism made a potentially stressful situation a positive experience.

"Two professional installers. Done in one day.  If only one person had been there for the install it would have been a 2.5 day job. With two people the job was completed in one day. I bought their recommended Amana furnace/AC. They were personable and interacted well when I had questions. If one person had been there it would have been a 2.5 day job. The unit worked the first time they turned it on and is a significant improvement. At the end of the job they thoroughly cleaned the area. And no up front money which indicated a well run business.
I had been told about other people who installed furnaces but I am confident that they were horror stories waiting to happen. This job required experienced workers. I may have paid more, but I may have ended up with a low quality (cheaper) unit as well as delays while the installer dealt with personal issues or disappeared.
This is the third time I have used Giant and each instance was totally satisfactory.

The offer was competitive and we decided to go with Air Pure based on this, their reputation, and the professionalism of the presentation. The work was scheduled promptly and the installers were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous and the work was completed on time, as promised. There was no garbage or debris left behind. The quality of the workmanship for the furnace and AC install was clearly evident and they took the time to review everything they did as well as show us how to operate all the new components. There are a lot of choices out there but we highly recommend that you consider Air Pure for your Heating & AC needs."

"In October the boiler that provides both heat and domestic hot water to my house expired and could not be repaired. Climatech and one other reputable company came immediately to determine my house's heating requirements and bid on a modern replacement boiler. Climatech was substantially less expensive and they were nice enough to juggle their installers' schedule so that I could get the new system installed ASAP as I had no heat or hot water for several weeks. The new system is much quieter than the old system, is more energy efficient, heats the house better and takes up much less space in my basement. This was an expensive project but I am very pleased with the value received and the service provided."
