Went above and beyond to explain each reason why the 70 year old boiler needed replacement and showed me the deficiencies and wear. Best price and were extremely professional and prompt. "We were quoted $329.16 to have the water heater sensor installed, less a $100 coupon that we had purchased on Angies List for $39. We thought that seemed a bit high but, proceeded anyway thinking we were already out $39 and this was something that we really wanted to have done. We were then quoted $908 to have the outside faucet installed. Except for having to drill through a cinder block wall, the job did not seem that complicated. The water line was running along an inside wall, and we had already purchased the necessary faucet. When asked why it was so expensive, my wife was told "because it is plumbing". We declined having the faucet installed. Although the technician was very professional and courteous, we would hesitate to recommend this company, because of what we felt were excessive prices being quoted. We also would hesitate to pre-purchase any services through Angies List without knowing what the total cost would be before the technician arrives. We thought we were getting a bargain price to check out a company that we could possibly develop a long term relationship with. Instead we felt we were overcharged and somewhat taken advantage of since we had already paid for part of the job through Angies List."

"Had a great experience with North Pittsburugh Heating. After getting screwed around by our home warranty company for almost 5 weeks (Choice home warranty btw, never use this scam of an agency), I contacted Tim independently to see how quick he could come out and get us a new condenser unit. Tim came out that very day to look at it and got our AC fixed within a week's time at a very good price. The tech's he sent to our house to do the job were also very courteous and helpful, amazing company! A major breath of fresh air after the nightmare we were dealing with previously. We'll definitely be using them in the future for our HVAC needs."

He answered all of my questions patiently and clearly. He had a few unforseen issues once the work began but he didn't increase the bill even though it resulted in additional work.

"Everything went wonderfully. After purchasing the offer, I was contacted almost immediately to set up an evaluation. They wanted to send out an employee to make sure that nothing else was needed to complete the project and he was here within a few days. I was then able to schedule the installation and it was a week later. I was contacted to ask if I was ok that the installation was pushed back a few hours due to delay in another job. They did a great job of always keeping me informed of what time they would be here. My installation, by Denny, was done quickly and professionally. He went over everything with me and made sure that I knew how the unit worked. He suggested a few things that I could have done on my furnace as well but didn't push anything on me. I found the whole process to be professional and I would absolutely use them again in the future."

They inspected the system  and determined the ductwork was improperly installed. they suggested installing new insulation on the ductwork. work was performed and the problem was corrected

"In October the boiler that provides both heat and domestic hot water to my house expired and could not be repaired. Climatech and one other reputable company came immediately to determine my house's heating requirements and bid on a modern replacement boiler. Climatech was substantially less expensive and they were nice enough to juggle their installers' schedule so that I could get the new system installed ASAP as I had no heat or hot water for several weeks. The new system is much quieter than the old system, is more energy efficient, heats the house better and takes up much less space in my basement. This was an expensive project but I am very pleased with the value received and the service provided."
