He figured out an ingenious way to hoist the heavy door to the second floor, and very skillfully and quickly adjusted the frame to fit the door, and affixed the heavy-duty hinges. And for the first-floor door, he figured out a way to repair the existing frame (rather than replace it), thereby saving me hundreds of dollars. All the work was done to a very high standard by a skilled professional who worked quickly and efficiently. And the price-tag for all this was remarkably low -- only a third the price I'd been quoted by another local handyman firm. "Everything was perfect. I’m very pleased and impressed with Dave’s responsiveness, professionalism and ability. Some stubborn parts on our old tub and shower were tricky, but he persevered and made everything work wonderfully well. He hung a large framed painting that had been leaning against the fireplace for ages (this required a pro to hang correctly) and it looks outstanding. It’s centered just right and is secure. Lastly, he installed a new faucet in another bathroom and that looks gorgeous also. Dave does it all and I will definitely hire him again for other home improvements and repairs. "These guys put the ‘master’ back in ‘craftsman’! Once on the job, they are on-the-job! Professionals, they will arrive early, work all day and clean up their mess before leaving. If there’s a question about how to address an issue, they will ask the customer, but always have solutions to offer. Make sure you have all the items you’re responsible for ordered (appliances, counter top, cabinets, faucet, hardware etc.) and in-house, or with delivery dates because you will have trouble keeping up with them once they start! Quality of work is outstanding and always with an attention to detail. The job stayed on budget, all additional work was done under change orders – except one instance. Make certain to ask whether any changes being discussed come under the scope of the contract or are additional work. This is particularly important with sub-contractors like plumbing and electrical."
