"Josh was wonderful. He explained the complete process and answered all our questions. He showed up on time and made sure we were satisfied with the job before leaving. I would recommend him to anyone interested in having their tile and grout cleaned. My floor now looks like it did when we had it installed 25 years ago."

"Timely contact and even showed up earlier than expected for both days! Only con is slight miscommunication about process/payment options. There is a 3% charge up for credit card use that I wasn’t aware of until I had to pay. Also unable to walk on floors for a few days longer than expected (this was my first experience with refinishing floors), so our move is slightly delayed now. Regardless, due to their quality of work, would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone! My floors look beautiful and I’m very satisfied with the way they turned out!"

"The sales representative who came to my house was great. He was knowledgable, professional, and answered all my questions. There was less than expected communication with me during the ordering and receiving of the materials. It would have been nice to hear updates or have some contact while I waited for the materials to come in. The installers were great! Very mindful of my new floors and treated my home with respect. I ordered them food and encouraged them to take a break and drink coffee / water. I was disappointed to see sloppy trim work and the shower head leaked. However when the glass doors were installed (on a different day) that installer informed me the first shower head was broken and he had it replaced with a new one. Overall I love the new look of my bathroom. I’m still upset with the trim work because it feels sloppy and I am paying a lot for the overall project."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

Upgrading your flooring in Bethlehem can make your home more comfortable by reducing drafts, improving insulation, and minimizing allergens. New flooring materials are easier to clean and can help prevent slips during icy winters. Quality flooring installation also boosts your home’s energy efficiency and overall appeal, which is especially valuable in Bethlehem’s historic neighborhoods and active real estate market.

Helpful?

For minor flooring problems in Bethlehem, you can tighten loose boards with screws, use a stain marker for small scratches, and quickly blot up spills to prevent long-term damage. Always wear protective gear and ventilate the area when using adhesives or cleaners. If you notice persistent dampness or suspect structural issues, it’s best to contact a local flooring contractor for a thorough inspection.

Helpful?

In Bethlehem, cosmetic flooring projects typically involve updating the look of your home, such as refinishing hardwood or installing trendy flooring materials. In contrast, functional projects focus on solving issues like subfloor instability, moisture intrusion, or uneven surfaces—common in Bethlehem’s older homes. Flooring contractors often recommend addressing functional concerns first to ensure any cosmetic upgrades last and perform well in Bethlehem’s unique climate.

Helpful?

Homeowners in Bethlehem should keep a microfiber mop for daily cleaning, a shop vacuum for debris, and a pH-neutral cleaner for hardwood floors. A dehumidifier is helpful for managing seasonal humidity, and moisture barriers are recommended for basement flooring installation. Furniture pads protect against scratches, while touch-up stain pens help maintain the appearance of local hardwoods. These tools support long-term floor care in Bethlehem’s climate.

Helpful?

In Bethlehem, basements often require flooring updates due to moisture from the local water table, while entryways and mudrooms see heavy wear from tracked-in grit and salt during winter. Kitchens and bathrooms are also prone to flooring issues from humidity and spills. Living rooms with direct sunlight or near heating vents may need refinishing more frequently to maintain their appearance and durability.
