"Mark is a true professional! He was down-to-earth, but never lost job focus.  He and Tim, his assistant, arrived promptly each day, laid drop cloths throughout my house and taped my stairway for added protection.  Drop cloths were also used to cover my bed and end tables.  At the end of each workday, the drop cloths were picked up and removed. Mark stored materials in my garage but at the end of the job, everything was removed and the garage was swept.  
One example of Mark's experience was his need to come up with an alternative to a granite lip behind the vanity. Because I had opted to use a particular granite remnant, some creativity was called for.  Mark used the floor/shower/accent tiles to create a backsplash that ties the room together beautifully!  
I cannot say enough good things about Mark Bond.  When a question or "idea" came up on my part I had only to pick up the phone and call Mark or drop him a text.  His replies were prompt and courteous. 
- Do I wish that demolition and tile cutting didn't create dust.? Of course, but that is a reality of renovation. 
- Would I recommend Bond Home Remodeling and/or use them again? In a heartbeat!

"I picked three contractors from Angie's list. Thermal Quality was one of the two who gave an outstanding presentation. The representative from  Thermal Quality was more down to earth. I contacted this provider around March 9, 2015. They responded immediately to my questions about having insurance and would they provide proof of the insurance. They said yes. They gave me an immediate appointment date. There was a mixed up about the appointment date but they contacted me and another date was scheduled. The representative called when he was on his way but was delayed by traffic. The traffic delayed only caused the representative to be seventeen minutes late. I liked the fact this company has been in business since 1987. The appointment date was  March 18th. After everything was finalized I was told it would take six to eight weeks for windows to come in. It took about six weeks. The installers arrived early in the morning. One window was the wrong size so another had to be ordered. But it turned out that the wrong window could fix another window upstairs. I also decided to have two storm doors installed. It took another four weeks for the new window and storm doors to be ready. The way the work was done is outstanding. It does make a different if you have been doing a job for a long time because it shows in the quality of the work.  It took about less than four hours to complete the entire job. Everything was cleaned up when work was finished. I was extremely pleased with the work and hopefully next Spring I will call them again to do nine more windows and my garage doors. One thing on my part I will need to insist on in the future is to make sure I tell workers about my no smoking policy around my home I am extremely allergic to cigarette smoke. The workers did smoke outside and I had to ask them to move far away from my house. But this would not deter me from hiring them again. My suggestion to smokers is to make sure you ask the home owner is it alright to smoke on their property.

"The construction went beautifully. Jeff Ramsey completed the bathroom and went above and beyond what we expected. Living in a home built in 1847 has its challenges as in needing to reinforce the floor to ensure this old house would support our newly tiled floors, tiled shower with glass doors, claw foot tub and marbled vanity. He was so calm and reassuring during the process which reflected on how we dealt with the renovation ourselves. He was extremely conscientious and reliable and that's why we have just hired Ramsey Builders for our addition that is underway now. The bathroom renovation went great and we have all the confidence in the world in Ramsey Builders."
