"I had a total of five doors installed. A set of French doors, three bifolds and a bedroom door. A few of them were custom sizes that needed to be trimmed out. Rick did an excellent job. He is conscientious and has a great attention to details. I will be getting him to do our front door also."

Though you can remove your interior door and paint it on a flat surface, doing so can be more time-consuming and labor-intensive. If you are working alone, you may find it easier to remove the door slab to lighten the weight while supporting the frame and inserting the shims. With two people, the process is generally faster and easier, whether the slab is left in place or not.
