Gray Construction was established in February of 1988. The company was started with only a vision and a few hand tools. One of those tools was an old sledgehammer that was passed down by my great grandfather. He used that sledgehammer to drive railroad spikes into wooden sleepers during railroad construction. And in our humble beginnings we used that same sledgehammer to break up concrete. Today we use jack hammers with pneumatic concrete breakers on the machines. We have come a long way. "Very happy we had Contek repair and remodel our living room. Started with a prompt visit by Corey and a detailed quote shortly after, and we then got on their schedule about 6 weeks later. Job consisted of removing and repairing a large area of the ceiling that was water damaged, removing a 9' picture window and also repairing water damage around that, refinishing that with two smaller double-hung windows, refinishing it all inside and outside, and lastly converting a standard small doored closet into an open mudroom closet. Dan managed the job and was nothing but a complete pleasure to work with. Shawn and crew did the vast majority of the work and were also a pleasure to work with. We did have a few finishing items we weren't initially satisfied with, but I'm only saying this because they made it very clear that they wanted us to be COMPLETELY satisfied, and to tell us of any concerns. Dan really went above and beyond here, and he and the crew addressed each of our concerns. It really was a pleasure having the Contek team work on our home, and now we have a living room we can't wait to show off."
