Had John come out to remove several stumps and I could not be happier. He came out to give an estimate, which was a terrific price and since he brought the grinder with him he was able to do the job immediately, no waiting. He even did several stumps not included in the quote, who does that today? You would be foolish not to give him a call. I will never go anywhere else.

It was a great experience to hire John and the Hungry Beaver Tree service. I wanted a few stumps to be ground down as much as possible to avoid sink holes in the future as the remainder of the stump decomposed, and to avoid mushrooms growing in the area from the decaying stump. John completely understood my desire. He did an amazing job and ground down the stumps as much as possible, the results could not have been better. He was friendly, caring, and courteous. He even took the time to show my nine year old son (who was mesmerized by the machine) how the machine worked. His stump grinding machine did the job quickly and effectively. He was extremely cautious to avoid damaging the lawn. Not to mention his pricing is more than fair, I had quotes for more than three times what he charged. John brings a level of professionalism in his demeanor that is uncommon these days.

John Katelas removed these shrubs in two steps. He first cut and removed all above ground growth. He then returned a week later to grind the stumps. Both stages were done in a very professional manner. The site was cleaned up after each task. No short cuts were taken. John is a very engaging, hard working person who willingly explains what will be done and does it to perfection. He had to work around underground drains and power lines and caused no damage. The beds and lawn were not damaged in any way. We were so pleased, we asked him to do another project for us.

They did excellent work. Everything done completely to our satisfaction. Everything clean and tidy when they left. Price very fair and reasonable. We plan to use them for all of our work in the future.

John came to provide an estimate and then stayed and did the work on the spot. He ground down the stump and even removed all the roots so I could plant another tree in the same location. He did a great job and I would highly recommend him.

John is very conscientious and seems to love his work. He did everything exactly as we discussed and talked over details before removing large banches. He is knowledgable about tree growth and makes his suggestions with their health and appearance in mind. He was careful around our property and cleaned up. HIs price is reasonable and fair.

Wonderful and easy

I am exceptionally happy with John's work. He responded to my inquiry immediately. His prices are very reasonable...much less then his local competitors. A lot of branches needed to be removed. My trees were shaped and beautiful when he was done. They did not looked stripped or bare. He even cleaned my gutters when he was on the roof. The property was clean of debris when he was done; no wood chips, branches, leaves left. He is very knowledgeable about trees...what can stay, what needs to be removed. This is the second time I have used his service. I highly recommend him.

Was very quick to get back to me with a quote (like the same day that I called). He scheduled the day to take down the tree very promptly. His rates beat his competitors. He showed up with the right equipment to fell a 36" diameter oak tree that was overhanging our deck. They ground the stump, cleaned up and chipped all the twigs and leaves and set everything back into perfect order. I would definitely hire him again to take down other trees. Best in the world!

I called John on Monday and he came out the same day to give me an estimate for removing several mature shrubs that had been in front of my house for 20 years. I found the estimate to be more than reasonable and hired him that day. He and his helper Doug came on Wednesday to do the job. He told me they would be back on Friday to grind the stumps but actually came on Thursday to finish the job since he knew it was going to rain on Friday. He could have easily put me off until next week due to the bad weather on the designated day. That was going above and beyond to deliver great customer service! Not only was the job done very well but John and Doug did an excellent job of cleaning up everything after they were finished. I would highly recommend this company if you need tree service work. Probably one of the best tree service companies in the Lehigh Valley! Hire them. You won't be disappointed.
