"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"Overall, this job was basically all done by us coordinating with the subcontractors, who were all very nice. The owner who we hired however was disorganized, rarely around, never did any kind of inspection on the work done by the subs. Tried to sell us a window that we couldn't install because it wouldn't have been to code, then after we got the new one ordered and installed, he left the old one on the side of our house for weeks until we said we were going to take it to the dump...overall, the job looks pretty good, but a lot of little issue we had to have another contractor fix to finish it.

As we did not have any work done with the SL Green Home company, we are unable to rate their services, however overall communication and ease of scheduling services were easy and convenient."

"This is the second time I hired ClearVision. They seem to be very well organized with specialist in each area: Estimation/quote, scheduling, supervision, and customer care. Their schedule is flexible, so they put our daily schedule first and came to our place after 5:30pm for estimation and final review. The owner is friendly and humble, and when we mentioned that we are a returning customer, he gave us some small discount from the final payment. They also gave us some sign up discount, since it was early in the season and we had the vent replacement done a year prior. Three crew members came to do the roof, and two of those I interacted spoke very good English, and were able to answer all my questions. They were on time, careful around my house, and cleaned up nicely each day they were done. They also sent someone to fix dry walls on the bathroom ceiling around the skylights. During the final review, we pointed out the newly replaced plywood is not painted. Though painting is not part of their job, they are willing to send someone to paint them at no cost. ClearVision does a through job."

David is a clear communicator and open to listening to our change requests, clearly stating the pros and cons but always following through with the homeowners expectations. "I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house.
