Charged over $300 for an hour's looking around (no actual service) and drive time. So, I feel pretty seriously misled, and I still have to find someone to service the boiler. They continue to be unwilling to split the bill."

The technician did a thorough inspection and determined that the fireplace pilot light and thermocouple simply needed to be cleaned. He did that and the fireplace now works perfectly . The technician, Jason, was very professional. He answered all our questions, explained clearly what he was doing and why and determined that several more expensive repair options were not needed."

"I have used Wilfert to service my rental condo in the past and it has been OK. But I have had trouble with them recently. I asked them to check out a leaking furnace pipe at my main residence. Water drips down the vent pipe during rain. I called them in August to get this fixed before Sept rains. I spoke with the main tech Shannon. Shannon told me there would be a wait and to call him back a few weeks later. I called back a few weeks later and he responded another week after that. He said he can't do it but someone else in the shop would do it the next week. When I called the main number a few days later, I believe I spoke with the owner, Wade or Wayne Wilfert. I asked when they would come out. He got flustered with me and said he is not sure can't do it. I explained I talked to Shannon and he said he knew nothing about it. He then asked what the issue was and suggested I just fix it myself. I eventually got him to agree to come out but he refused to schedule the job and said he would just call me. This is terrible customer service and scheduling and not how I expect to be treated as a customer. I am looking to build a business relationship with Wilfert to service my HVAC needs. So Wilfert now loses my business they have been performing on my condo and they lose out on the future work on my main home, and another rental that needs maintenance soon. I don't recommend this company."

To buy heating oil for your house, contact local heating oil companies to compare prices and place an order once you decide on a supplier.
