"We recently expanded a deck, added a patio cover, and are putting a hot tub underneath this second floor deck. There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid, but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work. Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it. Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching. At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back. I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid."

"Once work started the crew was on time, efficient, polite and skilled. Prior to the start date I would have preferred better communication between the contractor and me. Response times to my various inquiries were sometimes slow and at one point, even after I signed the contract, I thought I might have been forgotten about. In the end, however, I have a nice new drive at a reasonable price. I've marked the quality at four stars only because I'm not an expert on concrete quality. It has only been six weeks since the pour and I have every hope that this was a quality install. There are a few small imperfections in the concrete surface that I hope are only cosmetic rather than structural. As cosmetic imperfections I am perfectly content with them (It's a driveway after all!) and perhaps they are unavoidable."

"Alan was quickly responsive to my initial contact, and came out to assess and bid the job. Since we were under time constraints, and Alan could do the work we did not look for other bids. Alan’s crew came in and removed/disposed of the carpets in our large basement area, scraped off existing linoleum in another room, and scraped off wood floor glue on another area. They then did a grind on the concrete floor to expose the clean surface, stained it and applied 2 coats of poly sealer. All work was professional, Alan was great to work with (even allowed us to add an additional area to the job at the last minute), and the floor looks fabulous.
