I would recommend hiring Elias if you get changes in writing. They cleaned up pretty well although they missed a few things due to finishing in the dark. "After scheduling a date and time to meet, I had someone out to my house to estimate the job. My estimate came in at $245 for the yard work and $150 for the barkdust. I scheduled the work for July 17. The day before when I called to confirm and find out what time they were coming, the office responded that they had me down for the 19. That Saturday morning, the estimator came with a crew, we went over the work to be done a second time. Then one crew member began work on yard at 9 a.m. and worked by himself until 3 p.m., when another crew member came over. The two then worked until 6 p.m. They worked hard and it was a very hot day. Because I'm an Angieslist member, the company offered me two free lawn services (mowing, edging). We didn't schedule anything, but August 9 they mowed my lawn and left a note that they would be back August 21. They came back August 30. I think the work they did was fine, but I'm going to continue to look for some whose scheduling is more reliable."

"I realize it's the busy season, but I had to follow up twice to find out about the estimate and scheduling. Estimates were not itemized, so I had to request a breakdown of costs.  Although details of the job were gone over in person twice, and also on the phone, the job still didn't turn out exactly to the specs discussed, but overall the install looked nice. Clean up was disappointing, with excess gravel dumped into the flower beds behind retaining wall (which we now have to remove), and excess gravel was left in the driveway. Job was done on time and efficiently, and the owner and crew are very friendly. Crew showed up bright and early at 7:30 to get started!
