"We recently expanded a deck, added a patio cover, and are putting a hot tub underneath this second floor deck. There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid, but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work. Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it. Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching. At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back. I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid."

"How often does a service or company exceed your expectations? Just about never, but Artistic Landscape did by a mile. I cannot say enough good things about them, and their crews. So quiet, so professional, so considerate of every inch of my property as well as all my outside furniture, pots, hose insulators, existing plants ad infinitum. Went the extra mile and did things I didn't even ask them to, with great ideas to add value along the way. Robert the owner is very communicative, and he differs from other bidders I had in that he was personally involved and on site (not just interested in the bid), bringing an artistic flair that other contractors seemed to lack. He reminded me of the conductor of an orchestra, creating a beautiful product, or the director of a stage play. You can tell he LOVES this work. His crew was so competent and considerate of me and my space, and I still keep finding little things they did or replaced that I wouldn't have expected them to. Everyday, they removed the boards, and blew off the yard and driveway before they left. Great troubleshooters too. Immaculate. I couldn't be happier!"

"We are thrilled with our new back yard! Alex and his crew did great work, gave us a beautiful plan and finished project, and finished ahead of schedule. They took our small yard from bare clay, gravel, and standing water to a lovely oasis. I asked for raised beds that I could plant in; they installed irrigation, lighting, hardscaping, and our beautiful pergola along with trees and shrubs to form the backbone of our garden. "Had a sprinkler system installed on about 1/3 of an acre in the spring of 2022 with a 3 year guarantee. They were prompt about coming out, giving an estimate and taking a payment. Poor communication following the install regarding operation. Problems with water reaching all areas of the grass were downplayed. After repeatedly not answering texts or phone messages I was berated by Mr. Hawk for being "Mr. Difficult". I ended up buying and changing 3 sprinkler heads so that water would reach everywhere and eliminate brown spots. Terrible customer service !"

"So, I start this review and let you know I'm an older man, very picky, concerned with the best outcome for a good price. I had the project done once by another (remain unnamed contractor) and was REALLY upset with the outcome. So, it was time to fix my mistake. I started my search and found Jaime of Reyes Landscaping who contacted me immediately and came out at once to discuss possibilities. Let me tell you a few things, he was personable, honest, ready to get to work almost the next day and I hired his company, and folks, I couldn't be happier. He came back if I needed something tuned, with a smile and attitude of it not being a issue. It wasn't an easy job and since doing it, I've asked him back several times to be my Landscaping\Gardening year round company !! If you're looking, look no further. Look at his other reviews. "We initially hired JT Landscape for a fall/winter cleanup at our home, and we were so impressed by their work, that we decided to reach out to them to perform weekly maintenance services of our front and back yards. Initially, things were great - we would get regular updates on what they had done, what bigger projects might need to be done, and prompt replies when things were not taken care of properly - which was rare. We really valued what they did and looked forward to having them be a staple at our home, for jobs big and small. Over the last few months, however, things changed. Their weekly maintenance often consisted of nothing more than blowing leaves to the perimeter of our yard, leaving critical maintenance of our plants and trees to go by the wayside. On several occasions, we reached out to them to ask if they could make sure to take care of some of the basics that they told us would be automatically included in our weekly maintenance care. We continued to give them the benefit of the doubt until about 2 weeks ago. We had them come out to perform additional services, including a pond cleaning and pump installation, and power washing of our patio - services which were not included in the weekly maintenance, for which we gladly paid what they asked. What resulted was a pond with one pump replaced and all old and broken parts left in the bottom of the pond, a pond that is absolutely dirty compared to previous cleanings, and a patio where large areas were left untreated. On top of that, the polymeric sand used in between the pavers was still spread out all over the patio, many cracks had no sand at all, sand was blown directly onto our hydrangeas, vibernum, rhododendrons, and plants around the pond. Walking outside barefoot for 5 seconds guaranteed sand on the soles of our feet. We were remarkably upset and send JT Landscape pictures of the work left undone, along with a request for completion of the project at their next visit. We never asked for reimbursement for services “rendered” or any other compensation - just for the work to be finished. In fact, we told them not to worry about the pond, only to focus on the patio. Four messages were sent. No replies were sent back. Ultimately, JT ended up blocking our phone number. This was the act that compelled us to write this review. I cannot recall a situation where someone whom we hired started out so great, before regressing so much. I also cannot recall a situation where a professional disrespected us by not even having the decency and directness to communicate with us that they would not be continuing to provide a service. This has devolved from a good working relationship into one of the most unprofessional interactions I have experienced. In short, stay away."
