"So, I start this review and let you know I'm an older man, very picky, concerned with the best outcome for a good price. I had the project done once by another (remain unnamed contractor) and was REALLY upset with the outcome. So, it was time to fix my mistake. I started my search and found Jaime of Reyes Landscaping who contacted me immediately and came out at once to discuss possibilities. Let me tell you a few things, he was personable, honest, ready to get to work almost the next day and I hired his company, and folks, I couldn't be happier. He came back if I needed something tuned, with a smile and attitude of it not being a issue. It wasn't an easy job and since doing it, I've asked him back several times to be my Landscaping\Gardening year round company !! If you're looking, look no further. Look at his other reviews. "2-26-25 Miguel and his crew came over to our house and did a yard cleanup trimming all of the bushes, removing all of the debris, leaves, cleaning blackberry bushes, clearing out our garden bed. I wish I would?ve got a picture of before to show you and for some reason it will not allow me to upload the pictures I took of after because it says they are too large. These young men worked hard and fast, they were extremely polite and charged a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone."

"I hired Castro Landscaping to clean up some yard waste and remove a few large stones from the yard. After a hand-shake agreement on the work and price I paid half upfront and the other half upon completion. The clean-up of the yard waste went smoothly and as agreed. However, he left the large stones citing he did not have room and would be back the next day to remove them. He did not return, I contacted him again and he said he would pick them up the next day. He has not been back, and he has not responded to my attempts to contact him. My assumption is he will never return. This is likely due to the fact that I paid the second half before he completed the job. The owner is a friendly person, but he did not complete the job as agreed."

"Had a sprinkler system installed on about 1/3 of an acre in the spring of 2022 with a 3 year guarantee. They were prompt about coming out, giving an estimate and taking a payment. Poor communication following the install regarding operation. Problems with water reaching all areas of the grass were downplayed. After repeatedly not answering texts or phone messages I was berated by Mr. Hawk for being "Mr. Difficult". I ended up buying and changing 3 sprinkler heads so that water would reach everywhere and eliminate brown spots. Terrible customer service !"

"We initially hired JT Landscape for a fall/winter cleanup at our home, and we were so impressed by their work, that we decided to reach out to them to perform weekly maintenance services of our front and back yards. Initially, things were great - we would get regular updates on what they had done, what bigger projects might need to be done, and prompt replies when things were not taken care of properly - which was rare. We really valued what they did and looked forward to having them be a staple at our home, for jobs big and small. Over the last few months, however, things changed. Their weekly maintenance often consisted of nothing more than blowing leaves to the perimeter of our yard, leaving critical maintenance of our plants and trees to go by the wayside. On several occasions, we reached out to them to ask if they could make sure to take care of some of the basics that they told us would be automatically included in our weekly maintenance care. We continued to give them the benefit of the doubt until about 2 weeks ago. We had them come out to perform additional services, including a pond cleaning and pump installation, and power washing of our patio - services which were not included in the weekly maintenance, for which we gladly paid what they asked. What resulted was a pond with one pump replaced and all old and broken parts left in the bottom of the pond, a pond that is absolutely dirty compared to previous cleanings, and a patio where large areas were left untreated. On top of that, the polymeric sand used in between the pavers was still spread out all over the patio, many cracks had no sand at all, sand was blown directly onto our hydrangeas, vibernum, rhododendrons, and plants around the pond. Walking outside barefoot for 5 seconds guaranteed sand on the soles of our feet. We were remarkably upset and send JT Landscape pictures of the work left undone, along with a request for completion of the project at their next visit. We never asked for reimbursement for services “rendered” or any other compensation - just for the work to be finished. In fact, we told them not to worry about the pond, only to focus on the patio. Four messages were sent. No replies were sent back. Ultimately, JT ended up blocking our phone number. This was the act that compelled us to write this review. I cannot recall a situation where someone whom we hired started out so great, before regressing so much. I also cannot recall a situation where a professional disrespected us by not even having the decency and directness to communicate with us that they would not be continuing to provide a service. This has devolved from a good working relationship into one of the most unprofessional interactions I have experienced. In short, stay away."
