We are a family owned and operated building construction business where the majority of our customers become long time friends. We will gladly work with your financial institution and accept checks/cash. We do cater to Senior Citizens and strive to take extra time and effort in working for seniors while taking limited income into consideration and offering whatever discounts we can. We currently have 8 full time employees and seem to be expanding while keeping busy in our local economy. Our business office is open from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. We do offer free estimates for projects big and small.

"It went great! Very knowledgeable all around! Prompt, cleanliness, and professional service! My cat stowed away in their van overnight and Steve brought him home first thing the next morning! They certainly went above and beyond!"

Chimney Repair questions, answered by experts

Installing a metal roof will rarely affect your homeowner’s insurance policy in a negative way, and you might even get a discount on your premium for installing one, depending on your area. Metal roofs can reduce the risk of structural damage from heavy snow, and they stand up better to strong winds and impact, so homeowners in areas that see excessive snowfall or extreme weather may see savings on insurance premiums after installing a metal roof.

Homeowners insurance may cover the cost to tarp a roof if the type of damage falls within your coverage. For example, roof damage caused by a natural disaster may fall within your plan, and the cost of a temporary tarp may be incorporated. In general, however, simply tarping your roof for renovations will often not fall under insurance coverage.

When choosing a metal roof, consider not only the area of the roof but also the thickness of the panel, known as the gauge. Common roofing gauge sizes for metal roofs are 24-gauge and 26-gauge. The smaller the gauge size, the thicker the roof. Usually, a thicker gauge is ideal if your house is in an area that sees a lot of rain, snow, or hail, as it will be less likely to dent.

Metal roofs are more resistant to hail than other types of roof materials; however, hail can still damage a metal roof. The extent of the damage depends on the size of the hail and the severity of the hail storm. The type of damage a metal roof can get from hail includes dents, scratches, loose fasteners, leaks, and cracked paint.

A metal roof can last anywhere from 15 to 100 years or more, depending on the type. Aluminum and corrugated metal roofs last around 45 years, but tin roofs can last for up to 75 years, and copper roofs can last 100 years or more.
