"The bidding process is very efficient. You can see the costs of each part of the job. The crew was friendly and efficient and were willing to answer any question I had and walked through everything they were going to do before they did it."

I recently left the union as a journeyman carpenter and superintendent. I built custom homes in my 20’s after graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Before college I worked in all phases of construction from concrete and framing to finish work. I have a well rounded understanding of building and am passionate about what I do and the quality of work I provide. In my personal life I am led by Jesus. I enjoy running several times a week and working out in my home gym. My goals are to provide value to my clients and give back to my community.

"My parents their gutters looked at as there have been a lot of water overflow when it rains. Nicole C. came out and did a walk around the house and noticed spots where the gutters were leaking under the eves. She wanted to look in the attic to see if water was getting in there as well. What she did discover is the plywood was wet. She did more investigating of the roof tile and discovered it needed replacement. The leak in the attic could be very problematic. We were glad Nicole had the idea to check. Nicole explained everything regarding roofing and gutters in detail to my parents and answered all of their questions. She was professional, informative and personable. We look forward to continuing our relationship."

Mediterranean architecture comes from traditional building styles of countries on the Mediterranean Sea mixed with French, Greek, and Moroccan influences. There are three main types of Mediterranean architecture: Italian Renaissance, Spanish Revival, and modern.

Some signature components of Mediterranean architecture include red terra cotta roofs, archways, stucco siding, and metal detailing on windows. These homes often have balconies and outdoor living areas.

Yes, you can finance cottage construction through several options. Construction loans provide funds in stages as work progresses, while home equity loans or lines of credit are available if you have existing property. Some lenders offer a combined construction and permanent mortgage. Always review loan terms and payment milestones before committing.

When planning a general remodeling project, it's important to define the scope of work, understand your goals, and set a clear, detailed budget. You should also assess the current structure and consult with professionals like architects or contractors. Create a realistic timeline for each phase, obtain any necessary permits, and build in contingency plans for potential delays or unforeseen issues. Regular communication with all involved parties is crucial to streamline the process.

Yes, you can draw your own deck plans in many cases. However, you must know your local building codes and be familiar with carpentry principles. Even then, it's always best to run your plans by a professional contractor with experience building decks, whether you choose to DIY some of the build or not.

A split-level home is one that has several staggered floors connected by short staircases, while a split floor plan separates the primary bedroom from the rest of the bedrooms. Split floor plans are most often found in single-story homes, while split-level homes are always at least two stories.
