Vincent Morris Custom Tile Installation

It went very well after I had the right tile. That was no fault of Mr Morris, I ordered the tile. He was prompt, tidy and I’m very happy with his work. I will definitely hire him again when I’m ready to do my bathroom

Vince made my wife and my dream shower a reality. The tile work is beautiful. The lines are precise. Vince is also good about communicating different outcomes based on how we decided to have the tile laid out. One of the examples of this was our discussion about how a whole beveled edge tile would line up with a tile cut in half, because they are slightly different thicknesses. This helped us to know ahead of time what to expect and how we would best like it done. We recommend Vince and would hire him again. In fact, this was the second time we have hired him for a shower.

Vincent installed a complicated herringbone pattern tile backsplash for our existing kitchen. He was prompt to respond and had a very fair estimate. I was very pleased with the work and would recommend him without hesitation. We chose and purchased the tile in advance for this project.

Vince is a true master craftsman who can do everything from the simplest tile projects to top-tier artisan /designer work. His eye for design and detail is excellent, and he works to the highest standards of quality. We appreciated his professionalism, his follow-through, and (since he could come and go as he needed) his trustworthiness. We would absolutely use him again.

Vince took a great deal of responsibility to ensure the tile floor was properly supported, installed, and safe from falling. He made sure there was no transition drip needed between the bathroom tile floor and the vinyl flooring into the laundry room area. He additionally removed all of the existing shower surround and added the appropriate hardy backer to ensure water proofing and tile application stability. I’m very pleased with the work done by him.. I feel it’s a professional, well done job.

Vincent played a vital part in the creation of an intricate design using tile and granite for the master bath steam shower. The job also included custom tile throughout the home. He was extremely detailed and is definitely a master tile setter. The results are stunning, and will be included on the 2024 Salem Tour of Homes. Vincent has my highest recommendations.

Vince did an excellent job. We could not be more pleased with his work for our bathroom remodel. Many people who see our bathroom comment on how beautiful the tile work is, including other subcontractors-plumbers, framers,etc. His work involved amazing detail, part math, part art. He was so professional, on time, clarifying our desires and problem solving every step of the way. He did very unique work like tiling arched entrys into our toilet closet and shower and tiling a recessed niche with a shelf and an overhead light on a completely tiled wall against our tub deck that is just gorgeous. He is so committed to the final product being exceptional that he asked to calk around the toilet so that he could match the caulk with the grout. He put in a heated floor system and a linear drain for a curbless shower entry. Our finished bathroom looks like it could be in a magazine thanks to his work!

Vincent rescued us from a Tile job that had totally gone wrong by the person we had previously. The previous tile person was about 25% into the job before we realized we needed to find somebody else. Vincent came in and corrected the problems and did an outstanding job for us. He’s very professional and definitely knows what he’s doing. It was excellent. The job was done in a very professional manner. At the end of every day, everything was cleaned up very well. He was very good at giving suggestions when it came to choosing grout and the transition strips. We are very happy.

Vincent was great to work with! He gave me a clear estimate of price and a timeline of when the work could be completed. I caught Vincent during a busy time right around Thanksgiving but he kept me informed of when my project could likely start but let me know this wasn't a guarantee and that it might be pushed back by a week. I appreciate his honesty with his schedule. As far as once we started he showed up on time and did the work in the timeframe he said he would. On the first day I had a hard time making a last minute decision of how the edge of our tiles would end. He spent a solid 30-45 minutes explaining and showing different options on how I could do the edges. I ended up going with one of his recommendations and it looked great (much better than what I had been thinking originally). I had bought my tile ahead of time but this change forced me to buy some different edge pieces. Vincent took the time himself to drive out and get the pieces I needed without charging anything beyond the material. He did this once again as the project wrapped up after realizing I had purchased the wrong type of grout. The backsplash looks great. Vincent took time to make sure transitions and corners lined up nicely. The drywall in one area was bowed in a weird way and he worked a good solution that made up for this as well. Overall, a very good experience. Great work and excellent service.

Vincent is a true craftsman! His attention to detail is not found in other bids we received. He is meticulous and intentional. His pricing is great especially given the details that go into these major projects! Do not expect a fast turn around due to the intricate detailed nature of these large projects. There are many steps involved in a full tile shower and Vincent was great to explain the timelines and details for each step. It was a true pleasure to have had Vincent in our home the last month! We would not hesitate to hire him again for our next project nor hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

Vince responded immediately to my initial contact, and was out at our house within a day to do the bid. Our install was something I had seen on Pinterest with a raw edge that he hadn't done before, but he was totally game and did an amazing job. Our tile goes all the way up to the ceiling, and he had to cut some tile to fit around our crown molding, teeny-tiny cuts that fit around the crown like a glove. His attention to detail is amazing. He also fit us in between larger jobs, which we really appreciated in this long remodel process. Finally, they were really neat and tidy, which is much appreciated if you've lived with the construction dust and general disarray surrounding a remodel. If we do any other tile projects, we will definitely bring him back!

Mr Morris did an excellent job with our project. He was on time and worked efficiently through his days. The tile flooring looks wonderful, the placement of the tiles is accurate: seams straight, lines tight, the tile cut to fit around the kitchen cabinets spaced well.   Mr. Morris worked well with our cabinet maker and was willing to be as flexible as possible with his time/customer needs.
We have other tiling projects and we will be calling on Mr. Morris again when it is time to work on these area of our home.
I was happy to find Vincent and I have complete confidence in the job he did for us in out kitchen/dinning room.
