"It was the most unpleasant stressfull experience I ever had! We agreed for 250$, guy come out with Husky dog, was smoking cigares while working. He knew house size, was here before. After work was done he asked for 400$!! When I asked why, he started to bully me, moved big heavy card on our parking lot, then asked for 500$ , and my credit card number. He also was threatening me that he will come back and brake my gutters! Scam! Awful services, not professional at all."

Our nearly 100 year old deteriorating brick chimney was leaking water into the interior of the house and had to be repaired. Vasiliy came highly recommended to me by one of the best contractors in Portland, and I called upon him to fix it. The chimney was red brick, but Vasiliy suggested a lighter, golden color brick as it was more economical. Since our house is yellow, the golden color looked even better than red brick would have, and I saved money. The chimney is beautiful, and the repair/rebuild was so well done that Ithink it will last another 100 years,"

You’re going to need a permit for nearly every roof-raising project. This is a very important step, as the work you’re doing has serious safety considerations. Stripping existing shingles and installing a new shingle roof takes a professional one to two days, and sometimes up to three days for larger roofs. Additional safety measures necessary for steep roofs can extend the timeframe even further, as do added measures, like replacing roof decking or reinforcing your roof structure to support heavier materials like slate or clay.

Whether flashing goes over or under shingles depends on the type of flashing. For example, with step flashing, the shingles go on top, but they overlap one another. So technically, flashing goes both over and under shingles. But generally speaking, flashing goes under shingles and beneath the house siding.
