"The best plumbers in town! I got half a dozen quotes on fixing a major leak in our house. Most plumbers didnâ t want to fix the leak without repiping the entire house & charging a fortune. These guys came in and fixed our leak quickly for a great price, got our water running againâ what a relief! Weâ ll definitely be choosing them to repipe the house too. Highly recommend."

"I had Henco help with my new home water conditioner installation(pre-brought from Pentair). The job was done super well and the guys(Nolan and Zack) who came out were very professional and willing to explain all the little details about what I needed to know about the system and the plumbing work. I am glad I hired Henco, and I will definitely go back to them if any plumbing job is needed in the future."

"David evaluated my issue and was very honest and forth coming in the fact that though I had been told I needed to replace my sewer line under my house that my line was OK. Though he did not do the hydro flush I did need he referred me to another company to have the work done. I will be using hm on any future plumbing jobs and would refer him to anyone needing an honest business man to do a job for them."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Your OR home is a strong candidate for plumbing upgrades if it was built between the 1960s and 1990s. Older properties feature aging cast iron, galvanized steel, or outdated polybutylene pipes that require full replacement. Low water pressure, standing water in your crawl space, or living in flood-prone areas near local waterways indicate a clear need for drainage improvements and repiping.

Helpful?

Signs of faulty past plumbing work in Keizer include improper pipe slopes, mismatched sewer line materials, and amateur crawl space modifications. Look for water damage indicators like white mineral deposits on foundation walls, stained subfloors, or soft spots near toilets and sinks. If your home has partial push-fit repairs on older polybutylene pipes, hire a licensed professional to replace the vulnerable sections.

Helpful?

Address active leaks near your foundation immediately, as the wet Keizer climate accelerates mold and wood rot. Sewer backups in older neighborhoods and winter water heater failures also require urgent attention to ensure a safe home. You can schedule non-urgent plumbing upgrades, like proactive water heater replacements or repiping, for late spring or early summer after the heavy rainy season ends.

Helpful?

Routine plumbing maintenance in Keizer involves addressing moderate water hardness by flushing water heaters and clearing aerators of mineral scale. Because of high annual rainfall, test your sump pump and clear floor drains before the wet season. You should also inspect and insulate crawl space pipes to prevent freezing. In older neighborhoods, schedule regular sewer line inspections to catch invasive tree roots early.

Helpful?

The wet winters in OR make exterior plumbing work difficult, as heavy rain floods trenches and saturates clay-heavy soils. This expanding clay shifts underground pipes over time, requiring repairs. High moisture levels also complicate crawl space projects during winter. Since temperatures drop below freezing, you must insulate pipes in unconditioned spaces. During dry summers, increased regional demand lowers water pressure in older neighborhoods.
