"This company is obviously nationwide and hires local contractors.  I trusted Agies List that all contractors are licensed, bonded and have background checks.  This person was a handyman and not qualified to wall mount, conceal wires, add electrical outlet.  He  spend five hours in my home, for a job that should have taken two hours and left the area in a disaster.  The TV was hung close to the ceiling, the wires were hanging down from the TV, and the receiver was sitting on top of a plaster box because the cord was too short.  He was obviously not qualified to install TV wall mounts.  I have photos.    As soon as he left, I called Best Buy Geek Squad.  They were able to come out the next day and mount the TV professionally.  I have used the geek squad in Virginia and they are highly qualified.  They charge more than this nationwide company but you get what you pay for.  I called Angies List the day after the disaster and said i did not want to rate this company but I wanted to talk to a manager. No one called me to apologize. I have cancelled my membership.  Do not use this company unless you can be assured that the local contractor is qualified and is licensed.  You should never let anyone into your home that has not had background checks.

"There were many things wrong in my computer (my fault and letting grandchildren on computer) Robert was so helpful, gave me many good instructions to keep everything safe, which I have written down, feel like I have a new computer. He was so excellent and experienced, took his time and was meticulous about what needed to be done. He was a pleasure to work with and I will use this company again! Linda Disy"

Electrical questions, answered by experts

It’s a good time to plan electrical projects in Gold Beach if you notice circuit breakers tripping during storms, outlets near water not working, or lights flickering in windy conditions. Consider upgrades before converting to a vacation rental, adding new appliances, or installing a hot tub. If your home’s wiring is over 20 years old, proactive panel upgrades and safety checks are also wise.

Helpful?

In Gold Beach, electrical projects often focus on smart home upgrades like programmable lighting and integrated security systems, especially for vacation homes. Homeowners are also prioritizing EV charging stations and panel upgrades to support modern appliances. Coastal weather drives demand for whole-house surge protection and weather-resistant outdoor wiring, while energy-efficient LED recessed lighting and USB outlets continue to add value and convenience.

Helpful?

Coordinating electrical projects with other home upgrades in Gold Beach can streamline your renovation and reduce disruptions. For example, updating outdoor wiring during siding replacement or adding circuits during a kitchen remodel ensures your systems are modern and efficient. Combining projects often simplifies permit processes and scheduling, making it easier to prepare your home for new appliances and future improvements.

Helpful?

When reviewing quotes for electrical projects in Gold Beach, be cautious of contractors who skip details about required permits or don’t address coastal-specific needs like moisture protection. Unusually low estimates, lack of insurance verification, or missing references are warning signs. Also, avoid professionals who rush you for upfront payment or can’t explain how they’ll handle salt air exposure and outdoor wiring challenges.

Helpful?

For electrical projects in Gold Beach, choose marine-grade wiring and corrosion-resistant panels to handle salt air. Use weatherproof outdoor fixtures with high IP ratings and install GFCI outlets in all moisture-prone areas. Copper grounding and stainless steel conduit are ideal for reliability, while sealed electrical boxes and LED fixtures boost both safety and energy efficiency in coastal conditions.
