"Nickola was hired to fix some holes in my drywall, one of which may or may not have been caused by an impromptu indoor baseball game with my son (which is definitely against the rules). He assessed the damage, gave me multiple repair options, and was brutally honest about the cost vs. quality of each. No fluff, no upselling, just straight-up, "Here’s what it costs for this level of work." I respect that. A real contractor who doesn’t beat around the bush. I hired him based on a friend’s glowing recommendation (I’d seen his work, and it was top-notch), plus the fact that he’s a local, American-run business. He worked fast, blended the texture flawlessly, and even did extra because he won’t allow himself to deliver anything "less than." Best part? My wife still has no idea what happened. Nickola saved the day. If you want a trustworthy, skilled contractor who goes above and beyond, hire this guy! But also, this is what he fixed."

Small jobs welcome

"Ismael did an amazing job! He not only patched up the drywall in the garage but he did various touch ups throughout my house with paint and texture. You canâ t even tell where the fixes were-everything blends so well together! It looks soooo good I screamed of excitement. He painted the molding/handrails, as well! Ismaelâ s work was 10/10! I highly recommend giving him a call for your drywall/painting needs! His communication was great too! Always let me know when he was coming/going and got back to me a quickly when I had questions. I will be giving him a call again next time I need his services and you should too!"

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use drywall repair techniques for some types of plaster damage. Tiny holes and small cracks in plaster can be patched in similar ways to drywall. You apply the necessary compound to fill the hole, wait for it to dry, then sand it down. For larger damage, like water damage or mold, you need to use plaster-specific techniques and materials.

Yes, it is possible to rewire a house without removing the drywall, but this doesn’t work in all homes. You can pull out old wires and insert new ones if you have access to the wiring system via the ceiling or through a crawl space. Some pros can also use a magnetic kit to fish the old wire out of the wall through a hole cavity and install the new wires. Just keep in mind that doing this is less stable than removing drywall, as you won’t be able to staple the wires into the framing.

Yes, small, superficial cracks are normal as homes settle. Older homes have a higher chance of showing signs of settling through hairline cracks from temperature changes, moisture changes, and soil shifting. However, larger cracks, or discolored cracks from water damage, may signify a bigger problem that requires reparations and preventative measures.

Costs depend on damage size, labor rates, and whether additional services like painting are required.

Regularly in areas prone to moisture or high traffic to catch issues early.
