"They were extremely accommodating to my timeline. They were reliable and went right to work when they arrived. Worked very hard and very fast. Miguel is a good communicator, courteous friendly, and gave me a reasonable price quote. I needed the jungle of blackberry vines removed from behind my home. They did a great job, cleaned up all the debris, hauled it all away and left me with a view I hadn't seen in 15 years. I would hire them again. Thank you."

"Tony was professional and polite. He walked the property with me and gave me an estimate. He was on time and again by walking around with me to refresh himself as to what I needed done. He cleaned up all the downed tree limbs, leaves from last fall and debris. He then went up on the roof and blew off all the pine needles that had accumulated for the past 7 month. Finally, Tony walked the entire property to clean up the fallen debris from the roof. He must have filled 10+ big trash bags and loaded them in his truck for disposal. He went above and beyond my expectations. I could not be happier with Tony’s work and attention to detail. His bid was $270 but I gave him $300 for his excellent work!"

"Abraham and Carlos are a great team. They do a good job each week of mowing and maintaining my yard, along with fall cleanup of trimming the trees and shrubs. Also spreading bark dust in the summer. Any questions I have, they are there to answer. I appreciate and enjoy working with them!"

"My wife and I are in our mid 70s so Suarez has been our yard maintenance professional for a few years now. Our yard has a lot of planters throughout the yard which means a lot of trimmer work. When they leave our yard , it always looks beutiful. I would certainly recommend them to anyone llooking for quality yard work Jerry; homeowner"

"I was contacted by the contractor soon after I entered my info into the Angi site. They came out that day, look over the yard work I needed done. They were able to come out in less than week to do the work which was a yard clean up and move river rock from the side to the front yard. They got everything done and my yard looks great. I hired them for biweekly maintenance as well. Great communication and work. Thank you for making my yard look nice again."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Lead toxicity comes from inhaling lead or consuming it. Before the 1980s, when the government banned lead from consumer use, it could be found in paint, plumbing, pipes, ceramics, and even gasoline. Lead paint is toxic for the same reason lead itself is toxic, which is why lead poisoning from paint presents the same as lead poisoning from water or food sources, with a slight increase in respiratory symptoms vs. digestive symptoms. Lead paint is most dangerous when it’s old and peeling, cracking, or otherwise disturbed. This increases the concentration in the air and, therefore, in breathable air.

The best disposal method for hazardous waste is recycling or donation, if possible. That way, the world can reduce its consumption of raw materials and the volume at which materials have to be treated and disposed of. If recycling or donation is not an option, most waste can be disposed of through landfills or incinerators, but their collection and treatment are separate from regular day-to-day waste disposal.

While not all homes built before 1978 contain lead paint, enough do, so you’ll still want to test to be on the safe side. The federal government banned lead-based paint for homes in 1978, but your state may have banned lead before that time. Around 24% of homes built between 1960 and 1977 contained lead-based paint, while 87% of homes built before 1940 contained lead-based paint.

The safest way to remove lead-based paint is by letting a professional take over. For most people, lead paint removal costs an average of $3,400. You should never attempt to dry sand old lead-based paint surfaces by hand. Most professionals use a paint stripper to do the job followed by wet scraping, but if you don’t want to remove lead paint, another option is to paint over it. Only consider this option if the old lead paint finish isn’t flaking or cracked.

Embarking on a kitchen demolition comes with its share of risks to keep in mind. Think of potential encounters with asbestos, sharp objects, and power tools—not to mention the peril of structures wobbling or unexpected plumbing surprises. And, of course, you will be surrounded by dust and debris throughout the process. All of the above makes safety gear necessary, or you can consider hiring a qualified professional.
