"I highly recommend Diaz & Son?s for your landscaping project. Mr. Diaz responded to my inquiry for a shrub removal project and immediately responded and promptly came out to provide a free estimate. Once hired, he arranged to come out the next business day. Diaz & Son?s Landscaping crew was professional, friendly, hard-working, and did a great job on the project. The project was completed very timely, and cleanup was done afterwards. Mr.Diaz was attentive to our project needs and followed through. The estimated cost was the exact cost. Honest professionalism like this is hard to come by and greatly appreciated. I will seek assistance from Diaz & Son?s landscaping again for future landscaping projects. I have hired other pros from this site and the community in the past. Diaz & Son?s provided the fastest response and project completion time I have ever experienced!!!"

"Just a few minor things like not shutting off the water, leaving cups in the border, leaving sacks of soil on the lawn. Also, the debris cart was heavy I could not move it. They did an excellent job cleaning off the roof and the gutter, and the borders."

"Was prompt weekly concerning lawn care. But took his time on responding to requests for rebarking property. I also requested last fall, 6 months ago that I wanted 12 plants installed in my back yard. He put it off till spring. Informed me that he needed something to do over the winter months, so I went along with his request. Told me 2 weeks ago that he would be putting in the plants the following Monday. He never showed up. I called his service and left him messages to call me.. It's been 2 weeks and he hasn't called or come by to do yard work of any kind. Seems he doesn't care about this customer anymore, I decided I had enough, and called his service and left a message that his services were no longer required. In the whole year I hired his service..he called me back 1 time. Wants everything done on his time and not have to be tied down by the customer requests."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

If your roof was constructed between 1930 and 1970, there’s a possibility that the shingles contain asbestos. If that’s the case, you should hire a professional for repairs and replacement, as they’ll have the necessary equipment to stay safe from such a hazardous and cancer-causing substance. If your home was constructed after this period, it’s unlikely that the shingles in place are toxic. In most cases, asbestos shingles are not recyclable, while standard asphalt shingles are recyclable.

The EPA enforces hazardous waste laws and ensures people dispose of their hazardous waste responsibly. Depending on where you live, your state’s hazardous waste regulatory agency may also enforce these laws. Individually, it’s up to each household to properly dispose of their hazardous waste.

You do not have to remove lead paint if the surface is not chipping or peeling or if there are no pregnant people or children under the age of six who live in or regularly visit your home. Lead paint is a particular risk for young children whose brains and bodies are not fully developed. Experts strongly recommend that you call a pro to remove lead paint if it’s peeling or flaking, no matter who lives in the home. You can experience lead poisoning by breathing in or ingesting just a small amount of it.

Unfortunately, lead dust does not look different from any other type of dust. You cannot detect it with the naked eye. To determine if you have lead dust in your home, you will need to hire a local company to take a sample from the paint and test it for you in a lab.

Chlorine has a shelf life of between six months and several years, depending on its type and formulation. Liquid chlorine can often lose its effectiveness in just a few weeks. Pool owners can find themselves with overstock that they need to get rid of. The best way to dispose of excess chlorine is to take it to a hazardous waste collection site and let the pros handle it.
