"Stan and his crew did a beautiful, thorough, clean and detailed job rebuilding our 14x30 ft deck. He walked us through the whole process in buying trek, what to look out for and he did such a great job that my neighbors across the street hired him for their deck. Stan has done so many projects around our house (remodeled bathroom, replaced door wall, front door, replaced some of our siding and so much more) and we’ve been so pleased with everything he’s touched, it’s a no brained we let him do our deck too. You’ll never be disappointed. He doesn’t change the price on you mid project and he’s very reliable and always finishes when he says he will."

"Looking for a contractor for your remodeling job? We give John Wood five stars. We hired John Wood of JAW Construction to transform a building shell originally intended to be a shop for building trusses into a small house (officially an auxiliary dwelling unit or ADU) and are thrilled we found him. The job required skills that extended beyond new construction to include the insight, skill and craftsmanship of a highly experienced remodeling expert. He possessed these in spades. Beyond his own expertise, he has assembled a set of sub-contractors that are excellent craftsmen in their own areas of expertise. The job was doubly challenging given that for much of the construction period we were out of state getting our old home ready for sale. This also meant that an extra element of trust was involved. John sent us pictures of the progress, so that we could monitor from a distance. In addition, he was able to identify and rectify several flaws in our design. As with any large construction/remodeling project, there were some unexpected expenses that came up, but John worked with us to help limit cost overruns, sometimes foregoing profits. He was also always up front about the costs of the various components. Our new home is gorgeous and reflects his sharp eye for detail. We couldn’t be happier. "Excellent! The Sundogs, crew of 3, did a marvelous job of changing my wet and moist basement into a beautiful apartment. Floor was removed and a subcontractor hired to replace the floor after complicated drainage system and sump pumps were installed. Due to the small crew and the complicated problems, it took longer to finish, but I have now a beautiful apartment in my basement. They are dear and honest people who work hard. Thank you Sundogs!"

"I hate to write this review but people need to know what to watch out for. I had a $20k patio and walkway poured in April of 2023. Cracks started showing up in June. Josh promised to come out and fix them. He finally came out months later and said he would have someone out soon. A back and forth text went on for months and months until maybe June of 2024 he came out and cut the cracks and poured in a patch. Patch lasted until the next rain and then now I have a bigger crack. He then promised he would fix it and a person came out and cleaned up the cracks, left and no one ever came back. I contacted Josh and he said his warranty didn't cover cracks but he would come back out anyway. That was two months ago and he said he was leaving the state. I see his business is still open. One thing to have a problem. Another to make it worse, promise to do things and then just disappear. Now I have a mess and it will cost me a couple of thousand dollars to get to look even kind of nice. People keep asking me about it so it isn't just my opinion that it is wrong. I have many many text to validate this review. Sad to see this happen!"
