"The account executive was wonderful.  She was very knowledgeable about the products and had been in the industry for a long time.  She took the order and they charged me for half.  I called them when the order did not appear within the specified time.  John checked with Hunter Douglas and found out they had not started cutting for the project, but could have it done within the next week.  Given that I had decided to sell the house and didn't want to spend that much on a window covering, they graciously cancelled the order and promptly returned my deposit.  
Customer service, as provided by Premier Window covering, is hard to find these days.  Rarely do you find a business willing to cancel a late custom order without any hassle.  Without hesitation, I would use this company for any of my window covering needs in the future.  They are beyond professional.

"Very quick response. Surveyed the project (replacing failed sheet marmoleum outside ceramic tiled shower), brought samples based on emailed images, discussed suitable products.
Provided estimate later the same day.
Work accomplished in the same week. One broken tile was supplied so he came back the next day (a weekend) and finished the job. Nice work.

"I needed several small repairs done to the exterior of my house prior to having it painted, which Walt and his wife did beautifully. They also replaced the deck on my shed, and did a wonderful job on that as well. They were quick to respond to my initial request for a bid, accomplished the work within my time frame, did quality work, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. They were also quiet and courteous while doing the work.

He was late making our 2-hour scheduled window due to previous customer time, however, he called me to let me know he'd be late and also called when he was on his way. "We had some circumstances come up in our lives that delayed us being able to use this deal for several months and Taylor was patient with us as we found a date that worked with our schedule. We had a nice surprise during our consult with him when he explained that since our deal was actually based on square footage we could paint a hallway as well as the three rooms we had decided on. The two painters who did the actual painting were polite and easy to work with. Due to some drywall repair and a dark room that required more coats than expected, the job ran long and the painters needed to return to finish the work. Even though there was language buried in the small print of the Angie's List offer that would have absolved them of having to come back and do another coat, he recognized that the language was misleading and understood that finishing the job and having a satisfied customer was more important than the money lost by coming back and doing the extra work. We really appreciated that flexibility and reasonableness. He also offered the use of his company account discount at our paint store which saved us quite a bit of money when purchasing the paint for the job. We would use their services again."

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house.
