"Matt is a trustworthy professional and Im so happy with his work. Not only is he an extremely hard worker, he has great aesthetic skills to make each tree look its best. Since I had an unfavorable experience waiting for another tree service, he gave me a quote the next morning and fit me into his schedule so I didnt have to wait months like the others. I had the canopies of my 4 cedars lifted and cleaned up substantially, something I wanted to do for years. He and his son did such a great job with cleaning up the debris and even cut firewood for me afterward. I cant say enough about this company!"

"They did a real good job. They were real professional. We can now open the garage door from the inside of the house and now it is so smooth that we have to check to see if we hit the button to open it or close it.  Before we used to know when it was opening or closing because it used to make a noise. It helps when you move to a city where you are new. "

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Bradford pear trees bloom in early spring with small white flowers. They typically flower for at least two weeks. In bloom, these trees often emit a foul-smelling odor that’s often compared to rotting fish. Bradford pear trees will sometimes bloom in the fall due to drought or other stress-inducing conditions.

Signs include dead branches, growth over structures, diseases, pests, or roots impacting hardscapes.

It’s not as common for Dutch elm disease to affect other types of trees, especially if the surrounding trees aren’t elms. However, it is possible for DED to spread to other trees, particularly in northern states, like Minnesota. In fact, it’s a good idea to use geography to identify wood and determine which types of trees are in your yard.

Unfortunately, the complex and shallow root system of elm trees makes surrounding elm trees particularly vulnerable to DED. Early discovery is key!

Aim to have your trees inspected and pruned in early spring. At this point in the year, tree service professionals can note where there is old growth from winter and cut that back to encourage new growth for the rest of the year. Pruning at the wrong time of the year could make your trees prone to diseases.

Not all evergreen conifers need to be pruned, but some do. Pruning pine trees is not necessary, but you can do so during June and July if you wish. On the other hand, spruce, firs, and junipers do need to be pruned from late winter to early spring.
