"Start to finish, there was consistent communication and follow up on inquiries. Would highly recommend this organization to anyone looking to find a quality team to complete levels of work beyond what a lay-man homeowner doesn't want to tackle themselves."

"Looking for someone who will do small projects around your home, efficiently, timely? I and son's stepped right up to the plate and hit a home run. They provided a quote and estimate based on a few photos. Then stopped by and answered all our questions. They were able to start the next day. The team was professional, courteous, on-time. They kept the work site clean."

Customers say: Super punctual

"Everything was completed to my satisfaction. They did a very good job in some of the difficult areas. For example, painting around thick vines growing on porch columns and beam. Everything I pointed out in the inspection was taken care of promptly with no excuses. Communication was good with everyone involved. I would have no qualms about using company again or recommending to others. Following are a couple of minor issues we had. A few minor issues: We had 3 gallons of left over trim paint. That seemed like an error in estimating amount needed. On the other hand, there was only 1/2 gal. of main color left which is what I would expect for trim also. My hot tub was unplugged before they started because it was empty. The crew plugged it in when they finished without checking with me. It was several hours before I noticed it. I had to reset the heater unit but no damage was done."

"Josh was incredibly knowledgeable about his craft. Each and every question that I asked about decking and lumber was answered. He was friendly and easy to speak with so conveying ideas is a breeze. It was very obvious that NW Outdoor Living cares about their clients or even someone like me that was gathering information. I would highly recommend them based on their knowledge, friendliness and professionalism."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.

For many people, a gazebo is worth it, but it’s a matter of personal preference. If you love spending time outside but your yard doesn’t offer much protection from the sun or rain, then adding a gazebo might be worthwhile. Or, if you enjoy hosting dinner parties and want a nice outdoor space to gather with your friends, a gazebo could be a good investment.

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.
