"I am sorry that this client was dissatisfied with the process that was necessary to receive the complete and permitted project that we built. The fact that the county would not sign off on permits until the homeowner went through the variance process due to their home being on the wrong location of their property was no fault of NW Outdoor Living Llc. nor anyone related to the company. Multiple times this was explained and information was given to help the homeowner with this process. Josh personally spent a day with the building departments putting together a solution to this dilemma. There was also another contractor involved in the back yard(septic). Josh was told several times our work would conflict by this other contractor, whom then had his schedule put off for weeks due to hunting season. The story would then change coming from the homeowner. We were building a deck over the corner of a septic tank that had to be dug up. This was a concern. Again this was out of our control and not related to Nw Outdoor Living Llc. The name change had been discussed and was a new re-branding campaign that was 6 months in the making in order to give more clarity into what Nw Outdoor Living was doing and what Josh's true passion in the construction industry is. The name was not related to any financial trouble, disputes, or otherwise. This was purely a branding strategy to bring to the consumer where our passion lies and what we are good at. Lets also be clear in fairness that we went through arbitration with this client and it was determined we could walk away from this contract. In order to go the extra mile to try to resolve some of her feelings Josh chose to complete this project in the hopes that we could resolve some of the damaged relationship. As of the time this was written Nw Outdoor Living had fulfilled it part of the agreement. Permits were signed off in full by the county and city and all the work was completed. On top of this NWOL did additional work outside of the scope of the contract again in good will to resolve this. As this was written, this consumer has refused so far to respond to requests to pay her bill. It can be shown that when doing enough volume and having been in business long enough unfortunately there are people that make it impossible to make them happy. In the end we strive to do the best we can, and although we are not perfect, we do everything we can to make it our mission to satisfy our clients."
