Happy to report that he stated when he didn't know the answer in depth, but suggested what may be the source of effects. The job was done quickly, professionally and cleanly. Quoted a list of optional improvements (chimney cap, brick cleaning/seal) and repairs (cement flue cap replacement) that should be considered, but that they not a limitation to safe usage of the fireplace. I would hire again."

First, he came over, evaluated the roof and gutters, and provided a written estimate and proposed work date. Second, the Force Washing Team arrived and performed the work to specifications. No messing around -- they are pros. They have the ladders, harnesses, cleaning tools, and knowledge. Their Team cleaned up all the roof and gutter leaves and moss; added mesh grates and also took care of issues with seals on roof (old seals from chimneys, etc.). They are very knowledgeable. Kept me updated on the old/new cleaning with images, etc.., and it's clear they know what they're doing on roofs (including repair and installation of new roofing). Strongly recommended. And yes, I have them scheduled for next year. Hey -- if you wait for the rainy season, you'll probably have to get in line.
