They were helpful when an unseen event came up and was asked what I wanted. The job was done in a few days and all the crew worked long and hard..no goofing off. I found the 5 men or so, were polite, respectful, included me on everything, honest and they all were happy and loved their jobs with Homeland Excavation. Thomas did all the permitting, traffic-detour, and old-concrete removal work. His pour-crew was well-coordinated, professional, and on-time. The resulting sidewalk with approach concrete was excellent, some of the best I've seen. Plus. JAHolland was the lower of the two bids by several hundred dollars.
