"Holmes Concrete & Excavation designed and installed a stamped, colored concrete walkway around 75% of our house. The walkway passed through our front and rear gardens and also covered the south end of our house where we keep our trash bins and air conditioner unit. The walkway was well designed and helped tie together the exterior of our house in a functional, aesthetically appealing way. James Holmes helped us choose a color for the concrete that matched the exterior of our house. Overall, the final product exceeded our expectations. James and his team were professional, timely, and did a great job communicating the stages of the project. We have 2 dogs and they also did a good job temporarily closing off a portion of our yard to allow the dogs to use the yard without it negatively impacting the project. "Owner of the company came to my property and he gave me a thorough bid covering the cleanup and disposal of 30 yrs of debris. He had his own dumpster trailers and his own equipment necessary to do the job. I am a very environmentally conscious person and he took the time to separate recyclables and lawn debris in different dumpsters for removal. He also gave me a fair bid to do the differed maintenance on my out buildings around my property and was able to restore multiple buildings that other contractors said would have to be torn down-removed and built new at a larger expense. We’ve recently had him back to build a hot tub surround with transparent roofing out of 120 yrs old barn wood posts that was saved from a building that couldn’t be remodeled. Definitely will have him back for future projects, highly recommended."

"This experience was the old time quality and service you hear your grandparents talk about. The crew showed up 15 minutes ahead of time ready to start. While a fairly non-complex job of removing existing material and leveling the sloping site with crushed gravel, all material removed was redistributed around the yard. The concrete work was carefully laid out, true and square. The finish completely uniform in spite of high winds blowing leaves into site. When they finished the job, the clean up was spotless. All debris was removed and the driveway and all adjacent concrete washed down. Several times during progress, I was consulted if they had a suggestion for improvement or question. Every one of the workers was courteous, polite and thanked us before leaving. Fast, efficient and cost effective."

"I hired Paul to help me with multiple projects. He mowed our 2 acre field property when the grass was 4-5ft tall, which gave us easy access to our whole property. He regraded our driveway with approx 20yrds of gravel, leaving it smooth enough I could easily ride my street bike on it. He also excavated a small seasonal pond on our property and removed enough dirt to triple it in size, giving us a year round pond. Very happy with the results of all his work, worth every penny.
