"He replaced a valve in the bathtub so I could once again take a bath. He stopped a link in the bath sink and went out looking for a replacement faucet. I had to order the faucet, so he came back in a few days to install the the new faucet. He was very nice and attentive to what I told him. He came when he said he would. I would most certainly call him again for any plumbing failures."

"Ken and David did an extraordinary job diagnosing my drain clog and consulting on suitable solutions. As a first time homeowner, navigating between new contractors and journeymen for home repairs, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of service and expertise that I received from Ken and David. Without a doubt I will be hiring them again for all my future plumbing needs."

"Blake Emerson met with me and determined my wants and preferences.  A week later he presented his plans complete with itemized list of improvements for me to choose from.  At no time was I ever pressured to do any part of his plan but was free to pick and choose what I wanted.
His crews arrived and began removing all old beds, trees, bushes and digging trenches for the sprinkler system.  They were careful to preserve my lawn and worked quickly and professionally.  Beds were edged with rock, a new flagstone walkway was created and the sprinkler lines laid and connected to the control panel.  Rich, dark soil was brought in for the new beds and berm and the plants were installed along with decorative stone boulders.  Large, quality trees and bushes were planted and the mulch was laid over all the growing areas.  Sod was brought in to repair and level the lawn areas to complete the project.
A highly skilled stone layer removed the old patio salvaging the keystones to be relaid after compacting and leveling.  Matching edge stones were laid to create the new patio to my specifications.  A once ugly area is now my favorite place to relax.
A new French drain was laid along the south side of the property to replace one that had collapsed.  A large, high quality Chinese pistache tree was planted in the back yard to complete the project.
Blake was on hand to direct his workers and to answer my many, many questions.   He was very, very helpful and did everything he could to accommodate my every wish for this project.  He not only has given my home curb appeal but also given me an easy landscape to take care of and enjoy.

"A crew from Groundworks installed eight floor supports and encapsulated our crawl space last week. Jorge, Isaac, Kenny, Zacch, and Anthony did a great job! They worked very long hours to complete our project in a timely fashion and were great to interact with. They identified several plumbing and air duct problems and brought them to my attention. Jorge, the team leader, was great about communicating with me and keeping me well informed. The after job clean-up was very thorough. Jorge has been available by phone for my questions even after they have moved on to another job. These guys are very deserving of five stars. Also, I want to give a shout out to Anthony who did our inspection/estimate. He was very thorough and patient and made everything understandable. Another five-star guy!"

French Drains questions, answered by experts

It is not advisable to use drain cleaner in a washing machine. Drain cleaners contain harsh chemicals that can damage the internal components of your washer, including rubber seals, hoses, and even the drum. These chemicals can also react with any residual detergent or fabric softener, potentially leading to noxious fumes. If your washing machine is experiencing drainage issues, it's best to address the problem directly by inspecting and cleaning the lint filter, checking for clogs in the drain hose, or seeking professional repair services. Using drain cleaner in a washing machine is a risky solution that can cause more harm than good.

Most clogs are resolved quickly, often within an hour. More complex issues requiring pipe disassembly might take longer.

Anything from debris, rust, ice, and even poor installation can cause clogs in your plumbing vents. Some signs of a clog include slow drains, gurgling sounds in drains and toilets, and bad odors. The bad odors are the most concerning, as these can include methane and hydrogen sulfide. Contact a plumber to come take a look if you notice any of these signs.

Baking soda and vinegar is a great solution for cleaning your sink drain; in fact, it’s our preferred method. Here’s how to unclog your drain with baking soda and vinegar: Pour in a half cup of baking soda, then 1 cup of white vinegar, and let the two bubble for 15 minutes. Then rinse out with boiling water. This method is much safer than using a chemical drain cleaner gel.

A clogged air gap can cause a dishwasher not to drain. There are, however, other potential issues that can lead to improper drainage. For example, if you have attached the air gap to a garbage disposal and forgotten to remove the knockout plug, wastewater may backflow into the dishwasher. Check that the air gap is installed properly, and then look for clogs in the air gap and dishwasher filters.
