Designer - Landscape
Blake did a wonderful job designing the landscape. The selection of plants is absolutely what I wanted for a butterfly garden to bring out color, texture, and balance throughout the garden. The new paver sidewalk adds such charm to the house, creating a perfect path that ties the whole design together. The lighting system is another highlight—it beautifully illuminates the walkway and plants at night, giving our home a warm and inviting glow.
I’m also impressed with the sprinkler system installation that comes with a smart app connected to the weather forecast; more importantly it is easy to use, efficient, and ensures that everything stays healthy without any hassle.
We had some hiccups along the way between the actual design Blake created, which was not coming to fruition by his workers, but Blake made all the corrections to make it right in the end. I recommend this landscaping company to anyone looking for a great design.

I can’t say enough positive about Blake Emerson and his company "Giant Landscape". First, when contacting companies regarding the job and an estimate, Blake was there immediately. Deciding to do a job and finding a qualified contractor can be stressful and is very helpful when you find someone who wants to be there! His level of knowledge regarding the project (retaining wall/drainage, walkway and patio pavers w/ some demo...$20K) was very good. The pricing was fair and in line with others not to mention my preconceived estimate of cost. Lead time was a little drawn out, but that’s to be expected when you find a qualified contractor. Transparency regarding all things including scheduling was good. The supervised crews worked very hard and were conscientious about the job.....well done! I'm a hands on customer (a pain in the A.. by some standards) and the crew was always cordial and receptive to my desires and opinions. I truly appreciate their craftsmanship! As always, in retrospect, there are a few things that could be done differently, but not due to lack of knowledge, skill or effort. Time will tell, but I am very pleased post construction and don’t think you can go wrong with this company.

We had a large backyard on a cul-de-sac but were not sure what to do with it. Blake designed a fabulous plan with pavers to our shed, a wonderful water feature that we love, lighting that looks amazing at night, a fire pit which the grands love for roasting marshmallows, and trees and other plantings to tie it all together and a sprinkling system to keep maintenance easy. We have enjoyed it for over a year now and could not be more pleased.

Very happy with Giant Landscaping . Blake listened to my vision and came up with a design oriented solution to manage heavy rainfall water. His crew was easy to work with and stayed on schedule despite the spring rains. He created a dry creek bed to carry heavy rain water away. He lined it with locally sourced rock and low maintenance plants. Crushed granite and slate steppingstones, raised, planter boxes, stamped concrete, lighting, and water fountain. The end result is a wonderful, xeriscaped patio with minimum maintenance going forward.

He spend time listening to my concerns and needs, and was low-key in our discussions. He has extensive knowledge of sprinkler systems and was able to put one together that fit my needs effectively. He was very professional, came on time, had a crew that was responsible and careful. When we had a simple problem he was responsive and resolved it properly. He was easy to get a hold of when I had questions about the wireless app to control my sprinkler system. System Installed 10/2020. Last spoke with Blake, approx April, 2022.

I wasn't really sure who to call as my sprinkler controller was malfunctioning. My sister-in-law recommended Blake Emerson (owner) as he was in my area. I placed a call and set up a time for him evaluate the problem. He came out promptly, assessed the issue at hand and determined that the sprinkler controller was not repairable. We discussed several options and I decided to replace it with a new Rachio controller. It's cost is a bit more than some, but the convenience it provides is well worth it. It is hands down the best controller I have ever used. Blake set it up and I have not had to touch it since. Easily controlled via Wi-Fi, it measures weather patterns and adjusts accordingly. It has already saved so much water. I would highly recommend Blake and his company Giant Landscape to anyone for your sprinkler and or landscaping needs.

We are extremely pleased with our landscaping project results. Blake was wonderful to work with and was attentive to our requests and desired outcome. The project did take longer than originally estimated. Some delays were due to wet weather, but some delays occurred due to the work crew being inconsistent in being on site. Overall, we are very pleased. Thank you Blake and Giant Landscape!

Broke French drain , Hit & damaged fence, Hit Fake rock @ sprinkler dislodging front bolt on system & caused a huge leak. It is still leaking, Hit Fake rock @ sprinkler dislodging front bolt on rock & still leaking today, hit my house with their Bobcat breaking an entire chunk off the corner of the foundation Hit & Dislodged sprinkler heads, Left retaining wall unfinished which caused neighbors yard to begin collapsing. wouldn’t have returned without my texts informing them, Ran over French drain outflow pipe. No communication order of projects, didn’t remember several decisions and had to be reminded several, Irrigation company had to return after landscaping to fix mistakes caused from you: 1) failure to mark off hard capes. 2) hitting sprinkler rock causing a leak at system. 3) hitting several sprinkler heads causing grass to die. 4) advised sod to be laid outside of fence where no irritation existed, grass is now dead. NEVER took responsibility for ANY of these thingS or apologized. So unprofessional.

"These comments about our work are certainly alarming and one would think with a pile of complaints that certainly there must be at least some truth here, but in 10 years in business we honestly haven’t ran into anything quite like this. Our reviews elsewhere online speak for itself. 1. We worked thru multiple weeks of rain. 2. It is simply not true that we broke a French drain. The customer informed us that dirt was covering the end pipe, which we removed. 3. Fence damage, if in fact was us was limited to a 6-12” scratch on 1-2 pickets. We sought out pickets, but client refused our service. 4. Customer complained that we damaged fake rock 2” bolt mounted within concrete which we promptly repaired. There was never a sprinkler leak. We ran sprinkler multiple times, this is simply inaccurate information. Client believed leak to be occurring, however was shown meter indicating meter was not spinning. 5. Concrete on house may have been hit by our team, but was promptly repaired. The project involved is not a light landscaping project: we removed and replaced an entire Bermuda grass lawn and we used a power rake to ensure the old sod was properly removed and also the power rake creates a smooth surface to lay fresh sod. 6. We were told irrigation company was called to move heads. We would have moved them if not for this information from client. 7. We did not leave retaining wall unfinished. Retaining wall was built by Homebuilder. We simply added a few blocks to add to the wall. Retaining wall was nicely finished and we did more than necessary for $200. 7. We never ran over outflow pipe. A small amount of dirt came to rest there, which was removed. The client hired company to perform French drain and irrigation work before we arrived. Both are functioning well now. 8. Client was charged 10 percent less on sod than originally quoted. Additional grass was laid outside of fence as requested by the client."

We have had flooding issues in our front yard for years and recent home renovations made it worse. Giant landscape fixed it all! With the huge rains we recently had there was no flooding at all, all the drains and retaining wall and yard sloping worked as promised. The retaining wall was created with large boulders and is beautiful. They also poured a larger porch, pathway to the driveway and created a front flowerbed. It was a large project. They were professional, timely, and easy to work with. The quote was the final price, no surprises. I would definitely recommend them!!

Blake provided a beautiful design to fit the modest space that had been selected for this special garden sponsored by the Air & Space Forces Association Central Oklahoma Gerrity Chapter near Tinker AFB. Once funds were secured, Blake's team installed the garden in no time. Hardscape and custom planter are beautiful and will delight visitors for years to come. Since the pics were taken, the plants have already grown even bigger and the special Rosie the Riveter roses have started to flower.

The quality of the concrete pad was acceptable. The basketball hoop anchor was well done and professional looking. When I agreed to the contractor's estimate he told me they were about a month out from starting. A month later he told me they were four weeks out. Four weeks later it was still another two weeks before they broke ground. The concrete was finished two weeks later, at which point the contractor could not give me a timeline as to when they would start on the landscaping or the pergola. He said he doesn't give timelines, rather he does jobs when its their turn on the list. I chose to abandon the rest of the project and find a new contractor. So I can't speak for the quality of the landscaping. I would not hire him unless you are willing to live with indefinite timelines.

"We chose not to continue working for this customer. We were simply asked to perform what we could not do. We were asked to work weekends and holidays. We were told that we must begin working on landscaping portion immediately despite conversations stating that we had a gap in our crew availability. We were told to do things not in our agreement. In this particular instance, we are proud that we were able to perform the task of concrete pouring, setting a post for a basketball goal and then put back the yard with sod for the price that we quoted. We wish that would have been given the opportunity to do all that we had agreed to as we have a passion for landscaping! Our other reviewers have found us to be honest, reliable, and importantly good at our job! We harbor no ill will towards this customer as we were are content with who we are and our fulfillment of what we performed here and the payment we received. We felt that it was best for us to not move this customer up through our job order when others had waited as well."

Blake showed up promptly to discuss what I wanted, took pictures of the space and noted what needed to be done, and emailed a plant for my review/approval. I wanted an overall plan for my property. I met with Blake and mentioned a few plants i like and the vision i had for my yard. He listened and offered suggestions during the meeting. He took notes and returned the following week with drawn out plans. These plans had plants that i mentioned as well as plants i would never have thought of. I voiced my dislike of a couple of his choices and he gladly gave me options. The overall scale of doing the front and the back yard this year proved to be too much. I was able to pick and choose what i wanted done this year and have a plan to go forward in the future. The crew showed up when scheduled and if there was a delay, i was notified ASAP. The crew was kind, friendly and respectful. Part of the job included laying sod. There was a rain delay of a week by the sod grower. Blake let me know AND did not ask for partial payment. I actually offered and he said no. The Job was not finished so he did not expect payment. I was so impressed by that.

Blake Emerson with Giant Landscape provided all of the services we needed and did a wonderful job on our yard. We recently completed an extensive renovation on our 1960’s home, which included a large addition. The lot is large, with established trees, but also has some challenges with a mixture of sun, shade, previous plantings, drainage, etc. The yard was basically a clean slate, and we wanted a landscape company that offered full services ranging from design, irrigation, lawn, beds, hardscape, fence, and lighting. Blake worked with us during our renovation to plan out the design and answered questions about drainage and irrigation during our construction. It was very helpful to be able to plan ahead for the yard while contractors, plumbers, and electricians were here working. He listened to our ideas about the history of our trees and some plants that we wanted to keep, plus all the new plants we were interested in. Blake was always very responsive and answered all of our questions while giving us suggestions and options for some unique places in our yard. He is very knowledgeable about this region and what plants can grow in sun, shade, wet areas, etc. Blake and his crew made this a very positive experience and we have a beautiful yard to complement our new home.

Blake Emerson (well trained and experienced) and his team were great to work with. Professional, efficient, and willing to accommodate some changes during the project. We had a clear, computer graphic design plan and itemized estimate to review/discuss before we signed - much better than estimates we received from some others.
