"My computer (Windows XP) was running very slow and had become almost inoperable. It was taking a very long time to process anything, especially anything to do with the internet. IE was taking 100% of the cpu most of the time. Jim worked on my computer remotely for several days defragging, cleaning, anti-virus, malware, etc., but could not get it to perform anywhere near where it should. We decided that I needed a new computer. Jim built me a new computer (Windows 7 with racing stripes). The new system works very well and I am pleased with it. When Jim switched my files over from old to new, the Kodak Easy-Share program with my pictures did not get transferred. He has promised to make that transfer when he installs a new door covering the DVD reader which was broken upon setup. I will update this review when this occurs. I am very pleased with the new system and would do it all over again if a similar situation were present.

"I was absolutely dreading the roof replacement process. Everything I read said to get at least 3 estimates. I called the Top 3 on Angie's List. The other 2 companies were really great. But from the moment I met Dave (David Rodriguez) they didn't have a chance. I expected the salesman schmooz. Dave is real. Starting with him talking me through the entire process. He thought of every single detail no matter how small. Including suggesting my dogs stay at a friends so they wouldn't be freaked out by all the noise. He even called an electrician to do some electrical work for me (who was also very good!) He expertly dealt with my insurance company. My insurance company initially sent me a very small amount. Dave went through and pointed out errors and stayed after them till I got more money from them (they ended up cutting me two more checks). I have been promised the world from different contractors, always to end up slightly disappointed. With Air Roofing every single detail that was promised me, was delivered. Literally Everything!! Dave is amazing! His crew is great! Hard working and professional. Every nail and all debris was cleaned up. I have a small home but I was treated like I was his top client! "This is pretty much as good as it gets without having the designer come to your house.  We received detailed recommendations for lighting, accessories, fabric types, window treatments, lots of good details in the recommendations.  The actual remodel changed the room, but most of the recommendations still apply.  I'm not sure about the prices of the items they recommend, but it does give you practical ideas for furniture you may already have or how to shop in a retail store, etc.

"Somehow our perception of right of the window didnt line up as we were looking at 2 different windows and downspout was not put where I wanted it. When Brad called after job was done I told him that the downspout was not where I wanted it and he corrected the misunderstanding and I am very pleased with the job. "This was an Angie's "Big Deal".  John called within a few days to get my projects on his schedule.  I've learned that when I purchase a "Big Deal" through Angie's that it takes awhile to get on the schedule.  We agreed to a date and a specific time (2 pm) about 3 weeks out.  I called the day before the appointment and confirmed.  He sent text to let me know he was a little behind; no problem for me & it was only about 30 minutes off schedule.  Most providers give a larger appointment window (like between noon and 5pm).  I appreciated having an specific appointment time.  Many contractors I've dealt with are disrespectful of a customers time & arrive hours or even days late.  I'd say 30 minutes late was on-time in his business.
Work performed:
Removed 2 sets of 72" wide mini blinds
Installed 2 sets of faux wood blinds in their place
Re-installed one of the 72" mini blinds in a different window
Removed 3 other sets of mini blinds in another group of windows (including the hardware)
Carried everything to trash
Removed a walk-through doggie gate (easy task)
Repaired door that would not shut.  The hinges had been put on upside down by a previous handyman; I had to remove the strike plate because the door didn't close.  After John fixed the hinges, he installed the strike plate and my door finally closed tightly.
Repaired/cemented a loose stone on the front steps.
The drawer in the kitchen is wobbly.  It's the old kind with the rollers on the bottom (instead of along the side of the box).  John identified the problems (worn out rollers and slides); can't be repaired without parts I did not have on hand.
John worked at a steady pace and completed the work within the 2-hour time frame.  
Yes, would use again.  I'm already making my list and checking it twice.
