We take care of most home renovation needs, from hanging shelves to tearing out walls, however, our aim is to create exciting outside-the-box entertainment ideas for your home. We can build nature based outdoor play systems, interactive furniture pieces, indoor play structures, reading/sleeping lofts, pet play systems and anything else that your imagination and our team can come up with. Give us a call today, let’s see what we can come up with together!

"The attention to detail we got from the Reverie crew is what impressed us. They didn’t rush through the tasks that were asked of them (interior/exterior paint, landscaping, hauling off, trim, wall patching.) They actually cared about the quality of the work they turned out, and they didn’t leave a big mess behind for us to clean up after. We’ve actually had that very frustrating experience with contractors in the past. We will definitely be keeping Reverie Woodworks in mind for our family’s future projects."

"This was a remodel for a small bathroom with just a shower, a toilet, and a small cabinet. Replaced plastic shower unit with tile, tiled floor, and replaced wallpaper with textured wall. Replaced cabinet. The job took 3 months to complete! I was told someone would come out and help with design and options. That did not happen. I designed the new bathroom and chose what I wanted after the contract. But the contractor ordered wrong parts, including the shower door and tile. This resulted in delays. I specified the paint but they ordered the wrong paint and it had to be repainted. The drain was done very poorly and they had to come back and fix that. The finish on the cabinet had a big run on it. The tile on the floor was not as flat and even as it should be. A big issue with the work is the lack of moisture protection behind the tile. Only moisture resistant sheet rock was used. This is inadequate. Over time, this may lead to mold. I was told when I signed the contract that the sheet rock (or whatever the tile would be glued to) and the shower pan would be encapsulated in a sturdy plastic barrier to keep moisture contained. This was not done! Also, after a few months the grout around the drain started to collapse into a cavity around the drain because there was nothing underneath to support it! There is also nothing under the slab that was poured for the shower floor that would direct the water which did not go down the drain into the drain! Communication with the contractor was difficult during the job. The overseer of the job did not even have his voice mail activated. I would NEVER hire these guys again. I am going to have to get someone else to do a significant amount or rework at a significant cost."

Outdoor Kitchens questions, answered by experts

While it is possible to do this kind of project at any point in the year, save it for the mildest parts of winter if you can. That way, your backyard won’t be under construction during prime grilling season. Plus, contractors tend to be less busy on outdoor projects then, so you might get a better deal and the installation might take less time.

Most projects take 2-6 weeks, depending on design complexity and weather conditions.

Whenever you’re on the hunt for furniture, either indoor or outdoor, start your search at local second hand shops. While they might not always have exactly what you need, even just one deeply discounted chair or table will cut down a lot on your overall expenses. From there, check newsgroups to find free or inexpensive used items. For deals on new items, try discount home and garden retailers.

It’s possible to build your own outdoor kitchen, with the exception of installing utility lines, but it’s usually better to leave the work to a construction professional. If you want to DIY it, opt for an outdoor kitchen kit. For permanent kitchens and more in-depth designs, hiring an expert will ensure every aspect is high-quality and professional, the proper permits are pulled, and everything works safely. Professionals can also help design your kitchen to make the most out of your space, so it’s well worth the investment.

In general, the best types of wood for outdoor kitchens are naturally resistant to elements like water and heat and the damage they impart, like fading and mold or mildew development. For the best results, opt for teak, mahogany, and oak, and make sure they're pressure-treated for extra protection.
