"We had a fantastic experience with BKG Design (North Hills Location). Our kitchen designer, Noelle, came up with a great design given the small size of our kitchen that was right in line with our expectations. Throughout the entire process she was there to give design tips and help us create the modern look we were envisioning. Given the age of our previous kitchen we needed a fair amount of work done including demo, electrical, plumbing, and some floor work on top of the new cabinets and countertops. What I loved about Noelle and BKG was there was never any pressure or upselling along the way. All of our options were laid out to us from least expensive to most expensive and any part of the project that we wanted to do ourselves or hire an outside contractor for they were happy to accomodate. We ended up choosing BKG for the entire remodel and I am so happy that we did. Noelle did a fantastic job of project management as the entire remodel fell exactly to plan from both a time and cost perspective. Noelle would check in frequently to make sure we were aware of what was next to come, any upcoming decisions we had to make, and clarify items if there was any potential for confusion. In addition to project management, the install itself went very smoothly and that was thanks to the wonderful installers, Bill and Chris. Given that I work from home I was able to witness their work each day and I have nothing but praise for everything that they did. They showed up on time every single day and did not skip a beat from the moment they walked through the door. They were always quick to answer any questions I had and even go so far as to explain how things are done or provide advice as I like to learn a bit myself. Their knowledge of what they were doing was very apparent and impressive and it shows in the final product. "Contractor came on time. It was a very friendly person. The work was done on time .... my only complaint was that after the job he did not clean very well the area close to the A/C and furnace; and, the area outside the drier vent. Apparently, the work at my home took more than the time window scheduled for it."

"The lead issue was a major concern for us. Of the various contractors, they were the only ones very familiar with guidelines and how to do it. Upstairs was sealed off and we lived downstairs for the duration (we have a 2 yrs old and I'm pregnant, so we were quite careful). Lead tests were all negative. My 2 year old had his lead test about 2-3 weeks after the job was finished, and his levels were totally normal (levels at which they cannot accurately detect). Our upstairs is completely different now. The floors have the original wood showing instead of tacky paint, the rooms are all painted in new colors, trim looks great, and the walls in our room make it look like a new house. Hanging the door was tricky given the uneven frame, but they work perfectly and look good. I will say there were minor mistakes made at various points along the way (some floor finish splashed on the bottom wall trim upstairs, a bit of wallpaper removed from tape where upstairs was sealed off) but these are very minor. We are extremely pleased with the results and will use them again in the future!"

"Excellent! John made the whole process easy. I live remotely (in GA) and had to replace a roof on my mom's house in order to sell it. Timing was critical and John worked with me. His communication and professionalism is the best of any contractor I have worked with EVER! He updated me continuously and had great follow-up. While installing a new roof John is onsite with his team. They do a great job and their clean up is meticulous! I see why he is selected for a service award! His price was very competitive (I got 4 estimates)! He even beat Amish contractors in the area. He comes with Excellent Communication, Warranty for his products, and also a labor/service Warranty -you can't beat that. I highly recommend!"
