Small jobs welcome

Customers say: Quick response

"I hired Scott to repair a roofing problem that resulted in an exterior door also needing replacement. He went above & beyond by picking up the new door for me at no additional cost, and took the initiative of taking care of a couple other minor issues he spotted while he was doing the contracted work. He was prompt, efficient and even started earlier than planned. He was very responsive to coming back to take care of a slight problem after the work was completed. I would recommend him to anyone and will hire him again for other projects."

"Ryan did a great job on our drywall repair. They arrived on time, with all materials to fix the drywall after the plumbing leak. Replaced insulation, drywall, taped and textured. I could not tell where the repair was after they were done!!! I will certainly have them back for others repairs if needed."

"All work was completed quickly by Kris and his crew and better than I expected due to other contractors screwing things up or leaving them unfinished in the past. I had multiple holes to include in the ceiling. Everything looks great on the smooth walls & the patterned ceiling. Kris fixed water damaged walls and even cut out an access hole to water valves that had been mistakenly covered up by a past contractor I hired. He also went and picked up the appropriate type of plastic covering for the access hole. It's also important to mention for females looking to hire, I am a single female home-owner and felt completely at east with Kris & his crew all day long. I would recommend & rehire in a heartbeat!"

"Chris with Friesen Family Renovations, LLC was very professional and thorough in the work he has completed. He installed a new screen door, replaced my tub stem and faucet, repaired my subfloor in the kitchen and installed brand new LVP flooring to replace old and water damaged flooring. He also mounted a television for me, and did some drywall repairs as well. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for quality and dependable work!"

"We had a great experience working with Heman Homes. Colton was professional, detailed oriented and delivered high quality results. He was fair in his price. He repaired my shed, gutters the roof and assembled a second shed. What impressed me the most was the pride that he takes in his work, and it shows in the finished product. If you want reliable, honest and detailed oriented work done right we would highly recommend Heman Homes for your next project."

Wall Repair questions, answered by experts

A retaining wall can only function as a fence if it’s high enough on all sides to prevent someone from accidentally falling into the pool. However, most retaining walls retain dirt, which means their purpose is not related to safety. There would need to be nothing on the other side of the wall for it to be considered a fence, but in that case, it wouldn’t retain anything and would cease to be a retaining wall.

Through proper drainage solutions and compacting the foundation soil.

Rebar is a steel support that goes inside concrete to prevent structural damage over time. Concrete is susceptible to impact, weight, and tension. By inserting rebar into the concrete during the installation, you can help extend its lifespan and avoid hazardous situations where the foundation of your home gives way to tensile forces.

Yes, including patterns, finishes, and plant integration for aesthetic enhancement.

Poured concrete is often the cheapest material for a retaining wall, costing around $6 to $8 per square foot. Other budget-friendly options include vinyl and landscaping timbers, which range from $10 to $15 per square foot; landscaping timbers are particularly well-suited for DIY projects. Untreated timber and railroad ties are a step up in price, starting at $15 to $25 per square foot. Natural stones can also be a cost-effective choice if you can source them from your own property, but they can be expensive to purchase. High-end materials like steel are typically the most expensive but offer superior durability and aesthetics.
